There are a lot of reviews that say they cannot activate and that this is a scam. I figured I'd reply to let people know that the coverage automatically applies. As another reviewer mentioned earlier, if you go into your watch app on your phone, then click General, then About, then you see AppleCare+ which should have a date 2 years from purchase. You shouldn't need to do anything.

My apple care worked GREAT! dropped my watch and cracked the screen. called apple care and they directed me to a Micro Center for repair. It took approximately 7 working days from drop off to pick up.

Like others who have purchased this AppleCare+, after receiving my watch and setting it up I noticed that APPLE said I did not have active AppleCare+. I had to contact Amazon to find out why my AppleCare+ never activated automatically like it was supposed to and why I never received the proof of coverage email. After speaking with 2-3 different people I was told I would receive the proof of coverage for my plan within 24-48hrs and that it would automatically activate in that time frame, neither of which occurred. I had to contact Amazon again and speak to 4-5 more people before finally just receiving a refund because no one could assist me otherwise. One agent even went so far as to tell me I never purchase the AppleCare+ plan despite have proof of purchase via email, which I provided him. He then passed me to another agent. I would give this 0 stars if I could for the hassle and waste of time alone. It would be far more efficient, safer, and easier to purchase AppleCare+ through Apple directly, after you’ve received the item, to ensure you’re covered. Your watch automatically comes with a 2yr limited warranty, this is not AppleCare coverage, so be weary of seeing that and thinking you have coverage.

I purchased this watch for its fall and auto accident protection. I started having seizures back in 2019. Then I went for years thinking it was a fluke but on July 20th of this year i had two in one day that put me in the hospital for a night. Being able to track my sleep, check blood/02 & do an ECG anytime ids perfect for this aging boomer.

I didn’t think mine applied either but if you click on the watch app on your phone, then general, then about you should see your AppleCare is applied ad your expiration date on the second bar under name. I hope this helps.
