This laptop came loose in a cardboard box with no padding and no fragile sticker on the outside of the box. I could hear it moving freely within the box before I even opened it. One of the number keys didn’t work so I couldn’t even get past setting it up as my email and phone number associated with my Apple ID both have that number. Once I plugged in an external number pad, and input my Apple ID and password it showed an error code and I could not move forward with set up. I returned the laptop for a replacement, it was shipped in the same empty box, and the keyboard and trackpad on the replacement were completely nonfunctional. I contacted the customer service email that was included in the box before leaving a review and never got a response. It is now weeks after I needed the original laptop and I am returning a second non functioning laptop for my money back and will have to find a new computer. I am incredibly unhappy with everything about this transaction: shipping, the product itself, and customer service. Save your time and money. ... show more

Just got my macbook in the mail. It works pretty well when you set everything up. A star is taken cause I had to go back and make sure its up to date which it wasnt, but thats alright! Also it came in dead, so I had to plug it in :p. Currently im updating it to mac os somona at the moment. I also originally bought this for college as a dual enrollment student and wanted to save some cash in comparison to present day laptop prices. I’ll come back to this review in 3 months if I remember, and give a full stretch of how everything is going :D ^^ UPDATE- It works really well. No overheating issues when browsing or playing music. Though if you have WAY too many things open, it’ll start to fan a bit and then alot. I tried playing roblox on it and it runs extremely well, just fans alot. Pretty much every heavy heavy thing you do on this laptop it will fan; the quality doesn’t lower though. The batter life is quite short of 6-7 hours max. Good side of it is that it charges extremely fast and you can have a full charge in almost 45 minutes 💯 Great laptop and will be keeping it till it falls apart 🤞🏾 ... show more
