MacBook failed after 3 months of very limited use
The MacBook was in great condition when it arrived and worked well. It was used about 6 times over the first 3 months we had it. Unfortunately, it failed to fully power up or charge after that (even with a new charging cord). It failed a couple weeks past the return period, and the seller wouldn't help. Now I'm stuck with it and will likely have to spend hundreds of dollars to attempt to get it working. I should have just bought a new one that comes with multiple years of warranty. ... show more

DO NOT PURCHASE!!!
DO NOT PURCHASE - BUYER BEWARE!! We got this computer for my daughter to do her school work - write papers, do research, access online books, that's about it. She does not try to game on it or put a ton of apps or pics/videos on it. She's used it for about 7 months and it completely stopped working. The screen went black so she can't use it. It comes on, but she can't see the screen at all. I contacted the seller and they do not stand by their product at all. They claim the warranty period is over. Zoom virtual backgrounds!
Got a good deal for ~$650. The i7 cores (with hyperthreading) makes it the cheapest macbook pro to support zoom virtual backgrounds.
