Can the refrigerator be placed outdoors? The fridge is intended for indoor use. Please do not move the refrigerator outdoors or use it on bumpy vehicles. Additionally, leave a 10-inch clearance on the back and sides of the refrigerator to allow for proper ventilation and heat dissipation. After receiving the product, how long should I wait before plugging in the refrigerator for use? After receiving the product, please make sure to place the refrigerator upright for 12 hours before plugging it in for use. Is it a manual defrosting refrigerator? We provide a defrosting tool for customers, recommended every 3 months or when frost reaches 0.25 inches. Before defrosting, please remove items and turn the temperature to 0. Please see page 6 of the manual for detailed steps.

Stainless Steel 7.1 Bottom Freezer Refrigerator

This Bangson 7.1 cu ft model is really impressive. Even in ambient temps well above 100F this fridge will keep food as cold as You like. Currently I have it set around 34F to 38F in 110F ambient, which is just shy of #4 on the Temperature Control Dial, & it maintains that with ease. At my current setting the Freezer ranges between -8F & -14F. It's 55.5" tall & 21" square. It's so quiet it's hard to tell when it's on unless You put an ear to it. It's about as loud as a very quiet Aquarium bubbler, & uses 100 watts @120 volts, which is perfect for RV & Off-Grid. It took less than 24 hours to stabilize & fully chill down, which is quite amazing for the temps it's surrounded by. This is a really well made fridge, & if it performs this well for the next 5 years or more I'll feel the price was well worth it. No other brand in this size category comes anywhere close to the value of the 7.1 Bangson. I don't think there's a better brand in this category anywhere, I will definitely purchase another one just to have a replacement when & if this one fails, & I will certainly update this review if anything worth noting occurs, cheers! *Update 9 months in an RV, runs 24-7 like clock, I have had no problems with this unit!

Good Size and Looks Beautiful

We got this fridge for my 81 year old mom to have a mini kitchen near her bedroom. We love that it looks good and the fridge is on the top so she doesn’t have to bend down like smaller fridges. It says it must be placed on a hard surface so we added blocks on the bottom since it is carpeted near her room. We were able to switch the doors to the other side - no directions on that but it was pretty intuitive. There were extra parts that we had to figure out where they went since there were no directions in the box on “assembly”. The parts went on the glass shelves to lock them in place. The middle shelf is moveable so you can adjust for taller items. The freezer is a good size too considering it’s a small fridge. It’s large enough for frozen meals and ice cream. The bins sit on the shelf not in slots on the side and there is a small notch to keep it from coming all the way out. It came packaged well with styrofoam and metal brackets on corners and even thin wood on the top and bottom. It was even wrapped in that sticky film you peel off to protect it. That said it still arrived with dents on the top corner, back and side. Not terrible and didn’t damage the actually running of the fridge, still disappointing hence the 4 out of 5 stars. And no idea what that green stick in the small hole is in the back of the fridge is for (see pick) since it came with no instructions - just a pamphlet of a picture of the fridge that labeled the parts and a set of rules for setting up. I’d love to know what that is for! Overall, I think it is going to work great. It was a great price. It cooled down quickly and seems to be maintaining its temp since we plugged it in a few days ago. Looks like it is going to be a great fridge!!

Honestly impressive!

Honestly impressive! As someone who delivers and installs appliances for a living, this fridge is honestly impressive. It honestly compares to big brands like LG, SAMSUNG & even GE, KITCHENAID, etc. Even the price is very fair and competitive. SHIPPING: The packaging was awesome, it arrived very fast, with no damage whatsoever. All the shelves were in place and nothing was damaged, really impressive! FRIDGE: honestly it's the perfect size, for how compact it is, it holds A TON of food and beverages! It's more than enough space for me. COOLING: Temperature is perfect and spot on, that was a big issue i was having when I was looking at fridges, they would never get cold enough. But this fridge is awesome and true to temperature! Drinks are amazingly cold and the freezer actually keeps food frozen! Also the fridge is SUPER quiet after it's first cool down phase. I honestly can barely hear it humming. Again as someone who delivers and installs all appliances everyday for a living, this fridge is honestly impressive, even the price is incredibly fair and competitive. It has the same quality and looks as the major brands, id highly recommend this fridge.

Horribly noisy - absolutely do not recommend!

Update: The noise is getting worse and more consistent. At this point, it is intolerable and I may be looking at getting rid of it. No one could handle this level of noise for any length of time. Very disappointed in this purchase. Wish I would have bought at a local store so I could return it. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND The size is nice and having the freezer drawers in the bottom is much more convenient than a tiny freezer on top. I cannot really recommend this unit though because of the horrific buzzing noise that seems to come from a very cheap plastic condensation pan in the back. It started right away when I plugged the unit in but went away once I leveled the unit. Then, after a few weeks of owning, it began doing it again. I have to bump it or move the unit slightly to get it to stop, but it will inevitably start again. It is quite loud and so I do not think this would be a good unit in a space where people would be present often. Horrific for an apartment or dorm type room. I wanted to like it, but the noise is absolutely horrible to deal with.

I've had this fridge for about 4 months, and I must say it's a convenient upgrade from my last fridge. I was using a chest car fridge, which was a pain because I had to remove everything from the top to get to anything on the bottom. Now, I am able to see what I have and get to it so much easier. I'm using this fridge in a bedroom because I've sort of made it into an apartment since I'm sharing a home with others. This fridge not only looks so nice with the stainless steel front panels, but it works very well so far to keep items cold and frozen (in the freezer portion). I love having the freezer on the bottom so I don't have to bend down to get to things in the fridge, which is used most often. I'm very happy with this purchase, and I pray it keeps working for a long time to come. By the way, the brand letters come off of the unit pretty easily if you don't like the emblem on the front. I took mine off and prefer it that way. Great product at a nice price!

RETRO RED 7.1cu.Ft Honestly We love it there are NO DENTS!!!!!! Because I was scared I READ LOTS OF REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING It came 1 day before said it was expected! It got cold fast but I ALSO LET IT SIT UPRIGHT FOR 11hrs UNBOXED AND WIPED DOWN before plugging it in AS STATED! Freezer kept my ice cream frozen from transferring them from house refrigerator It’s in our bedroom Now I’m not going to lie if your EXTRA like me are is MARRIED like me this will be great for your bedroom if you have a master bedroom! AND WE DO so IT PERFECT!!! Even for a college student! But if you’re looking for a mini refrigerator for your bedroom go with the 4.0 because the 7.1 is BIG but not a house refrigerator Big OUR FOR A APARTMENT AS STATED! but a 2nd house refrigerator YES garage our Basement refrigerator YES Even an office especially if it’s for multiple employees!!!

This fridge is OK but not excellent

I did experience a few issues, thus my rating. First the box was damaged, a little bit, mostly on the bottom. Second, there was a dent in the freezer on the left edge and a dent on the right edge and back of the refrigerator. They were both small, but nevertheless, they’re there. The biggest problem, is there is a 10° difference between the top shelf and the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Bottom shelf is 36°, and top shelf is 46°. Very disappointing, as I was hoping that the refrigerate would have more or less the same temperature on the top shelf, maybe three or 4° difference. Seller did refund me $30, which really just covered the taxes of the refrigerator. There are a lot of really good reviews on this refrigerator, and not sure why that is. But my experience was not top-notch, but the good side is the bottom shelf is very cold and I do like that and the freezer works well. Also, one of the most important things is the glass shelves. It is a pain to defrost the refrigerator, but I couldn’t find one that size that was auto defrost.

Freezer door will not stay shut. Had to get a childproof lock to keep it closed, which broke from the pressure of keeping it shut. Freezer temp fluctuates, which means my stuff stays half frozen, half melted. And, the ice build up in the freezer is ridiculous. I have to chip off the ice daily, it gets so bad that I cannot shut the drawers. (Even at a setting of 2 or 3.) Fridge door can be really difficult to open; the amount of force required most times will cause things to fall off the door shelves. My advice: avoid at all cost.
