  • Such a Unique item, Mild electric shock for hand and mind. Good tool.
I wasn't sure what to expect, I find myself tapping on the steering wheel or having hard time listening to others sometimes when I am wrapped up in thought or doing something else and easily get agitated. This is a nice pocket item to have or to hold when you can't have your cell phone or mp3 or other stimuli that I rely on to distract while I can focus, and this does the trick. It's a little intimidating and I didn't know what to expect, or what the buttons and controller does, and how to hold it. Almost feels like a tiny Wii thumbpad. Good for those nervous people or gamers that that miss the button. I find I learn better when I can distract my hands as I am always sorting things on the table and such this makes it easy to hold, think of it like a lucky rock or rubbing stone but in the 20th century. The device is for the hand only, and not to spot shock a bad calf or ankle into being rehabbed, this is tenz unit style shock but has quite the kick. (The kind in Chiropractors office with the sticky pads.) Think of a rubber band snapped in the wrist to trick the mind or jump a thought pattern. Reminds of of a carnival grabber type device. The thumbstick doesn't control anything nor have the 6 buttons on the side seem to do anything at all, but when contacted the back 2 plates and the sides, the harder you grip it the more electricity is felt so perhaps the metal sides make a contact point. The buttons (top) is power. press 3 sec turn on, press once to start I think. so far, its a little learning curve for pulse settings (bottom button) and the two inbetween are power increase/decrease respectfully. I have nerve damage in my fingers and hands and this is a good way to get my hands to un-claw or respond when they get tired. Restarts signals and calms the mind. Pleasantly surprised with this.. some settings feel like I am part of a clock hand ticking along, or a heartbeat even. then there is a rapid one, and then one that is like a metronome or slow clock.. this is my favorite as it helps slow down and can focus on the pulse. I like it. Good little gadget. still figuring out the settings. Downside: Instructions are long and cumbersome with unlocking certain settings, but honestly just pressing random buttons till you find what works is part of the fun of these things. • Actually Shocks You Doesn't Just Vibrate. Lol!
Full honesty I have no idea what this thing is doing. LOL! I actually didn't believe it was going to shock me when I ordered it, but it does! It feels like when you shock someone by static shock. My mind is freaking blown. I haven't tested it during one of my GAD flare ups yet. I have ADHD, OCD, and GAD. This morning I am going through my daily routine and decided I wanted to put batteries in this thing and play with it. FIRST POSITIVE is it charges via USB-C (which I am sure the description says it does, lol). I am stoked I don't have to put batteries in it. Anyways, it is already a little charged. So I turned it on by long pressing the power button and I started feeling little shocks in my hand. I almost threw it across the room. lol It scared me. I thought this thing was gonna vibrate not actually shock me. I am shocked. lol! It doesn't hurt it just caught me off guard because my expectations was not that. Overall I am impressed and I hope and pray I can remember to pull this thing out when I am having an anxiety attack. Funny too is I feel more clam now. lol So this is labeled as a toy and I am not going to let my five year old play with this. I don't think it would hurt him, but I think he would overreact to it, so I am choosing user age for 13+ but honestly this is an adult "toy". ... show more

  • Unclear instructions - but there is potential for it to be useful
The biggest downfall of this product is the instructions. They are far from clear. You are left to figure out on your own how to use this. I would also have liked to see a bit of information about the underlying reasons why one frequency leads to calming and another to stimulating (maybe this is asking too much). Is this meant to work like Tens chords, as another reviewer suggested? I'm intrigued enough to experiment with it a bit more. I wonder what the health benefits are supposed to be. Is it purely for people with ADAD? does it stimulate blood flow in the hand with which you are holding it? ... show more

  • Good for Adult ADHD
I'm getting this Adult Fidget Toy for Anxiety Relief as a Christmas present for an adult with ADHD. He gets bored easily so the fact that it is handheld and portable will make it more useful to him. Sitting in meetings or just with friends, this gives his hands something to do while he is listening. It helps with concentration when they have something to do with their hands that doesn't require thinking about. They take in more when they are trying to listen if their hands stay busy. I think this will be a big hit. It is pretty pricy so it better be a hit for that much money. ... show more

  • Junk toy
Size: White-1
For my 14 year old grandson. It does not work

  • It actually WORKS
I’ve had ADHD for decades which does cause some anxiety. I figured why not give this stimulator a try. After using it right out the box, not only were my nerves suddenly relaxed I felt a bit more relieved and relaxed! I am a nurse so I was skeptical but seriously only 3 minutes I was not as anxious or nervous. I’m going to keep using it at times of anxiety it’s super affordable and better than medication or in addition to them. It comes in a sturdy box and instructions and a rope to carry it with you anywhere. And charger which keep it charged for hours ... show more

  • Fidget toy with electroshock?
This toy tries to lean into some mysticism of electricity. While there is some small evidence that electricity applied to the head can affect anxiety and depression, I can find no evidence of electric shocks in the hand affecting brain operation. That said, as a fidget toy, it is alright. It has several things that have no function other thanfidget, like the joystick and the clickable electrodes. I thing the microcurrent has value as a silent metronome to focus on. As effecting as a vibration or a blinking light, you can set the speed of the pulse, and that can give you something to focus on while fidgeting. Every part of this has value, but don't believe there is some electrical magic happening. ... show more
