    • Dark scenes are disappointing but bright scenes are GREAT
Update: other reviewers have said that this projector does not reproduce shadows well in dark scenes. I thought so too until I realized that there’s a thing called “Projector Settings” - what worked well for me was to go into Projector Settings > Picture Settings and change Picture Mode to Movie, Brightness to 44, Contrast to 50, then go into Advanced settings and change Gamma to Max Brite. For cine buffs, this gave the right effect in a darkened room for scenes with lots of shadow details. Okay, it’s not as good as other projectors rated at 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio but it’s MUCH better than the out of the box settings and I enjoyed the picture. The sound is phenomenal for a built-in speaker system. Not as good as a dedicated surround sound system but quite adequate, full range and loud enough for indoors. I also bought it for the low power rating, since I'll be powering it from my RV's batteries. I do recommend this projector. ... show more

    • So dark
The picture is extremely dark especially with hdr. You can try to adjust with setting but then your whites will be washed out and have no detail and if you darken it, you won’t be able to see anything in dark scenes. I was going to upgrade from my 1080p epson ef12 and it’s not worth it even if they were the same price in my opinion. The cosmos is definitely crisper with the pixel shift 4K but the picture just doesn’t pop like the epson. There is no way that the cosmos is 1500 ansi lumens because I compared side to side to the 1000 ansi lumen of the epson and the epson blows it out of the water. I am returning it for those reasons.     • A great projector by Nebula
I bought this projector refurbished but there is no way you would think it’s a refurbished unit. It came with everything and its own box as if it was brand new. Setting up the projector and configuring was a breeze and the picture quality is amazing even on the wall. I love it!!

    • Insane fan noise
The media could not be loaded. Okay, the picture quality is good, even better in the dark room, 4k does the job, but it has this annoying fan noise that bothers me, it is crazy how loud that noise can get, I do volume up so I won’t hear that fan noise, it also overheats fast, after an hour use android TV start lagging, most likely from overheating, and same time fan noise gets even louder, seems my nebula cosmos max going to fly to cosmos, not sure if it’s an issue or that’s how it works :( ... show more

Other people seemed to have issues with it not busing refurbished well but mine looks anda runs like it’s brand new. I’m really happy with it!

    • Very nice projector and super easy installation
The product itself looks sexy, modern and well built. Installation process was smooth and quick. Not many buttons or back and forth moving around set up, which makes it very convenient for a home projector type. Very recommended

    • This was a beat up, old & nasty box from and I returned it within minutes of delivery!
As soon as it was delivered, I opened the Amazon box and saw the product box looked like it was old, ragged and beat up and certainly do not want this for a pricey Christmas present. I immediately got in my car and headed to UPS to return it. Very disappointed!
