I always wondered by Animal Pak has like 1,000 pills to swallow but there's no Omega 3's well now I know why it's because they also make OMEGA. I don't know how long this stuff has been around but I never heard of it till recently so I brought a can. I've been taking Animal PAK and Animal Flex and I like the benefits of both of both of them combined. I did however need some Omega 3's in my mix so I went and picked this up. This has Everything and I do mean Everything you need Fish Oil wise. I like Animal products because they always over do it. This is no different as it's a pill cocktail of all the fish oils and some other choice oils like flaxseed. This isn't a supplement you take and notice a difference with though it's just a health promoter like most vitamins it gives your body what it's lacking from your natural intake of food. I will say that the only downside to this product is that it has 30 packets and not 44 like most of animals other stuff. ... show more

Most products containing the "Omegas" are heavy on Omega 9, which our bodies naturally produce. This is a great supplement for the essential fatty acids Omega 3 and Omega 6, which our bodies cannot produce and so we need them from our diets. The Western diet is full of processed foods lacking these crucial fats. I have noticed an improvement in my skin, hair and nails after 6 weeks. I take the individually packaged portions every other day. This is the best and most complete Omega-3 and Omega-6 supplement I have EVER been able to find, containing good amounts of CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid),DHA (Decosahexaenoic Acid),GLA (Gamma-Linolenic Acid),EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) and LA (Linoleic Acid). All of which are crucial for so many of the systems in our bodies to function effectively, bodybuilder or not. I take them with food and I've had no stomach problems. I'm 48 years old. I lift weights and run 3-5 days a week. Honestly, exercise keeps me sane. Over the years I've developed minor shoulder and knee pains. I started out taking Animal Pak & PM recovery. Then I added Flex & Omega. I don't have any carry-over pain. In other words, if I wear myself out on an 11-mile run, maybe my knee or hip or whatever hurts a little right afterward. Maybe not. But if it does, it doesn't last. The next day I'm back to baseline. I work circles around guys that are 20-30 years old. My bloodwork is solid. No deficiencies or toxicities. Remember to take omegas with fat-containing meals for premium absorption. Kind of iffy on the sources for all of the omegas included in this formula, for example flaxseed, there have been studies recently showing negative health effects of using flaxseed oils etc. this may be slightly outdated, though the formula aims to hit your daily rda of omegas with the goal of fat-burning, kind of hard to turn down when youre a weightlifter looking for a solid omega. But heres the thing, shooting for 4,000 mg omegas a day or more means you need to absorb them all, so take these with a meal containing fat. The only problem is that leaves 99 percent of the day for you to consume other things and form other deficiencies, i dont think this product is great for someone who dials into their nutrition timing, this is better for the “1 and done” type of person, you know the ones that only buy 1-a-day vitamins because they “hate swallowing pills” yeah.. my bet is you would have far better results paying attention to the timing of your meals and supplementation, take an omega pill each time you eat rather than taking ten pills once a day.
