  • Outstanding Android Tv Box
This Android TvBox connects much faster than the previous TvBox I was using and was very easy to set up. It also allows you to install a lot of programs. I would recommend the KINHANK G1 TV box to my friends as well. Like it so much.

  • Good, but...
Unit works pretty well, but one issue keeps it from gettig 5 stars. The SiriusXM app doesn't work properly. The Favorite channels screen doesn't populate. However the same app installed from Google works flawlessly on my Shield Pro, and the $20.00 4k Onn box from Walmart.Removing the app, restarting, and reinstalling don't help. ... show more

  • Great device for streaming
We've been having issues with our 4K Firestick for sometime now. Slow response, and the occasional Bluetooth drop out to our surround sound. Part of that problem was the only way the firestick we had could connect was WiFi and that can cause issues with Bluetooth reception. Combined with the fact we have a smart home setup with over 50 WiFi devices, the issues can add up. I saw this allowed for an ethernet connection as well as WiFi, so I decided to try it. While I tested the WiFi connection and it works, I was far more interested in the ethernet connection since the unit sits right next to the router. So the short supplied cable was even too long for my purposes, but it worked out well. The connection issues we had with the WiFi previously on the FS were done. We now enjoy fast connection, no dropouts and no interference with the Bluetooth surround sound we are using. My standard test is the "two towers" from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The sound I am used to so know what to expect, I can concentrate on the quality of the streaming rather than the show since I have seen it many times since its release. While it is not 4K, it makes no real difference on my setup as I have just a HD projector. It does full 1080p so that is what I tested it with. At 1080p, there is absolutely no issues in latency, quality or color. The pictures shown are in daylight, which is not the best setup for a projector and the phone camera really fails to capture the true quality of the image and its dynamic range. It's as good as any setup I've used at 1080p and this GooglePlay device has no problem meeting that high standard. The remote control is compact but easy to use. It is very responsive with no appreciable time lag on our set up. Speaking of setup, it was very easy to do. Most of the time it is the app's such as Hulu etc that dictate how easy it is to set up a new system and that remains so for this device also. basically, don't blame the device if the app is the problem. We had no problems with most apps, but Peacock gave us some issues using a computer log in. Switching to TV login solved the issue. Again, app issue, not device issue. I like that it has given back quite a lot of our WiFi bandwidth since we are using its hardwired option. It is also nice to know that we have the option of WiFi if we ever want to go back. Basically, nothing bad. It all just works as it should. Time will tell if it stays that way as sometimes these things get bogged down over time. So far though, all good. ... show more
