I can only give this chair 2 stars because the chair I received does not match the description. First, there is no adjustable lumbar support. There no knobs on the side of the chair for adjusting the lumbar. It did come with a lumbar pillow, but I cannot adjust a pillow. Secondly, the headrest pillow on the chair I received has a strap and it is not adjustable. When I lean back in the chair the pillow is at my shoulders and not near the head or neck. I would have returned this chair, but it is now fully assembled and the box was damaged in shipping. I'm sorely disappointed as I feel I did not get what I paid for.

Right off the bat, I knew this chair was going to be solid when I struggled to get the box in the house. It was very heavy. Assembly was pretty straight forward. The instructions were simplistic, but clear for the most part. The bolts on this thing are big and solid - they're aren't wiggling loose and the chair isn't coming apart. (I'm looking at you old office chair.) Assembly, by myself, took around 30 - 45 mins, I'm guessing. I completely forgot to look at the time when I first opened the box. Some of the pieces are a bit awkward to get on / line up by yourself, but it's definitely doable. For the chair itself. Oh my gosh!! I absolutely love it. All the little adjustment options allow me to perfectly dial in the comfort. The support is wonderful while being very comfortable at the same time. I don't have a traditional desk, so the ability to adjust chair height as well as a whole boat load of arm configurations finally allow me to actually sit under my desk. The lumbar support is right on, too, however I would like it if I could permanently make it stay up where I like it. It slides back down as soon as I get up. Not a deal killer by any stretch of the imagination. My old chair didn't have one at all, so yeah... it's great. The head / neck pillow is pretty nice too. I'd didn't have that either. I did have a bit of trouble getting it on by myself, but I got it done. I could not figure out the rock motion thing, but I turned it all the way "on" I think? There isn't as much give as my old chair, but I'm not sitting in a rocker/recliner, so that's fine too. If I had any complaints at all, it would be the branding everywhere. It's an Anda Seat. I get it. haha I might black sharpy two of the three just to dial it down a bit. Also, I did add my plushy, memory foam arm pads to the solid plastic armrests, just because I'm all about the comfort. And since the arms are height adjustable, the thick pillows work perfectly with this chair. Overall, I'm absolutely thrilled to have this quality, well made, rock solid, high comfort chair. I spend a lot of hours at my computer - general tasks and gaming - and this chair is really going to help with my overall posture and comfort. I can't recommend this chair highly enough.

i know im a vine reviewer but believe me, i am picky with my chairs. there are a couple gripes that i will absolutely voice but overall, i think this is a fantastic chair. the neck pillow sits in the wrong spot and as far as i can tell, there is no way to fix that. that's #1. for 2 sometimes the lumbar pillow gets too low and whenever you sit down, you have to reposition it. i wish there was a way to move the lumbar pillow and have it stay there. that being said, the lumber pillow is super nice and comfy when its int he right spot. the recline lever is kind of loud and a little bit finnicky. other than those couple things, this chair is really nice. and at the price point that it goes for, i certainly hope it would be nice. if im goanna drop $400 on a chair, i want my money to be well spent. and in this case, you'd be pretty on the money (pun intended). the upholstery is nice and clean. however, with all the complaints ive listed, id say a more realistic price for this would be $300 to $350. i think $400 is a little much considering it doesn't do that much more than a $200 or even $150 chair. all things considered, not a bad chair. if you're in the market for one, this is a more pricey option to consider

I’m a big guy. 6’2” 210#. Normal chairs work but aren’t all that comfortable so I jumped at the chance to get a chair for a guy my size. And a quality chair to boot. Thing is heavy, have a friend help you! As I put it together I kept thinking this is how things should be made. The included bolts are quality, they have a large top to make turning by hand easy. They have a large diameter hex to them. And the included hex wrench is better quality. Not the usual cheap nut that strips when you think about turning it. It all just lined up, and assembles easily. Everything is solid and well built. It comes with instructions with color pictures and written in like 50 languages. Only part that was hard to follow was which armrest is the left and right one. (The shinny button goes in front). The elastic band on the headrest does take to people to stretch the clasps together. Sitting in it for the first time is a slice of heaven. Finally a desk chair that is my size. I love how adjustable the armrests are, I can get up close to my desk. Not a fan of the height adjustment arm, you need to get out of the chair to move it. 100% recommend this chair. Love it.
