I bought these for my 4 boys aging 10-16. They have loved using them, but we have had one big issue. The heavy battery is only supported by the rear bike rack, which is metal, but I don't think it is super strong metal. The metal bar where the rack is attached under the seat broke causing the rack to come loose and tip back pulling the wire partially out of the battery docking structure attached to the rack. Now nothing turns on. Other ebiks battery sytems seem to dock the battery along the main frame of the bike. I think that's a more supportive place to dock Breaks are also noisy.

This is my third ebike. I live at the coast and the salt air is really tough on any type of bike but especially ebikes. I ride about 15 miles a day, every day when possible. This is my second Ancheer and both have held up suprisingly well. I also have a Lectric 2.0. Rode it for two years and replaced most of the moving parts. Its ready for the junk pile. My first Ancheer still rides fine at 6 year old...The 48 volt commuter bike I bought this year now has 800 miles and no sign on rust or related issues. Super smooth riding with the power advantages of the 48 volt system and at halt the price of the Lectic 2.0, its a super steal.

These are replacements for our more expensive junk e-bikes from WalMart. We are very happy with these bikes. For the price they are perfect for my 5'4" wife and my 6'1" 250 lb. self. Lots of get up and go, plus the batteries hold their charge very well. I recommend them highly. They are pretty heavy at 68 pounds, so you might want a sturdy bike rack when transporting, or a ramp to load into a truck bed.

The reason I chose this bike was because of the advertised battery life. It claims up to 60 miles using pedal assist mode. I use pedal assist mode 2 and 3 and the most I got was 37 miles. After 1 month with the bike, the battery drains even faster and the handlebar display with show 1 or 2 bars left and the battery is completely dead. Customer service was not helpful or even caring. The bike is 70lbs and very hard to turn, so if you get stuck like I did, it's hard to pedal unless it's a very flat surface. So now, I am stuck and out of pocket 600.00. Terrible Customer service. Do not buy!! The pictures show my last ride August 20. I barley got 25 miles using pedal assist.

UPDATE: they sent parts to fix the horn, light, and the broken handlebar stem about a week after my first review. No instructions were sent and it took a while for me to get all of the repairs completed as I had to undo a lot of the electrical wiring protection coil, remove the handlebar grip on one side to get the horn and light replacement on, and then put everything back together. After an hour I have everything back and working again. Hopefully the repairs hold up. This bike has been ridden less than 40 miles total on 3 occasions. My daughter was riding it and the steering suddenly snapped and then the shaft completely came loose and she lost control. This metal part is was cracked in half inside the frame and I have spent the last 2 hours trying to get support only to have Amazon and ancheer running me around in circles. Ancheer doesn’t indicate that there is a warranty after 30 days, but my Amazon asurion claim won’t cover this because it says there is a manufacturer warranty. I have no idea if anyone will fix this but I spent extra for the warranty to have peace of mind and no one will help as of right now. I’m glad my daughter didn’t need to go to the hospital but this was a scary event and now we are $500 out on a bike that I’m not sure anyone will fix. I will most likely have to take it to a bike shop to see If it is salvageable and pay for that out of pocket. She also just told me the horn and headlight stopped working 2 days ago, so I don’t know if the seller will make this right or not but I am leaving this review up until the issue is resolved as a warning to others.

I have had my bike for 6 months now. Like it more now that when I first got it. It took me a little time to understand how the assist levels work, and the fact that if you start peddling the assist kicks in. Now When I get on I start in zero assist and only turn it on when I am going along good. I have been very pleased with the range. I give out before my battery does. The bike was easy to put together, and it is well built. I am able to balance my effort riding so I can get a good work out and go as far and as fast as I want. A lot of times I will run in level 1-2 assist on the outbound leg of my trip. putting in enough effort to set my heart rate up to a work out zone. Then I click it up to 3-4 and speed home.

My 1st e-bike was an Ancheer, but it got stolen. I moved up to a more expensive fat tire bike which I really like. This Xmas I decided to buy myself a present and get a lighter back-up bike. I loved my 1st Ancheer and when I saw how their models had improved I knew I wanted another one. The quality may not be Rolls Royce but it's a very well built bike, and the pricing is very affordable if you're serious about e-bikes.
