Works very well as a battery tester. I drive a 2018 Dodge Ram 1500, which uses something called an SGM or a security gatewa module. I was not able to use the ODB2 feature of this device even though the configuration screen shows that it supports my CANBUS As a battery tester, it works great I live in Phoenix and the extended summers with extensive heat are brutal on vehicle batteries. They will die with no warning whatsoever This tester is a great way to see where my battery is voltage wise and cold cranking power wise. This device can even measure voltage output of my alternator in real-time. Comprehensive set of test tools to help determine battery health and even electrical system diagnostics.
