Description

The DEWALT DCK240C2 20v Lithium Drill Driver/Impact Combo Kit (1.5Ah) is comprised of the DCF885 20V MAX Lithium-Ion 1/4-Inch Impact Driver which is compact (5.55" front to back) and lightweight (2.8 lbs.), designed to fit into tight areas. This unit offers one-handed loading 1/4" hex chuck accepts 1" bit tips, and also features a 3 LED light ring with 20 second delay to provide visibility without shadows. A belt hook is also included for portability on the worksite. The DCD771C2 20V MAX Lithium-Ion Compact Drill/Driver is also compact and lightweight, designed to fit into tight areas. This drill/driver offers a high performance motor that delivers 300 unit watts out (UWO) of power ability, which allows for a wide range of applications. This unit also features a high speed transmission that delivers 2 speeds (0-450 & 1,500 rpm) for a range of fastening and drilling applications. The 1/2" single sleeve ratcheting chuck provides tight bit gripping strength, and the ergonomic handle delivers comfort and control. Both tools are part of the DEWALT 20-Volt MAX system and are compatible with all 20-Volt MAX batteries, chargers and accessories. Includes: (1) DCF885 20v MAX Lithium Impact Driver, and (1) DCD771 20v Max Lithium Drill/Driver, (2) 20-Volt Maximum lithium-ion 1.5Ah battery packs, (1) 20-Volt Maximum charger and contractor bag.

I got these because I do a lot of utility work in technical theater...everything from repairing props to large set pieces, set construction and repair, and stage lighting maintenance...and I got tired of waiting for the screw gun and drill that we already owned to be available (and then hoping there was still enough life left in the battery to do it). In the year or so that I've had these, the one time they let me down was removing bolts that ended up requiring penetrating oil, a top-end wrench, and a 30" breaker bar to get loose (and even then, it took a guy who has another 30lbs of body weight to put enough torque on them to get them loose). Well worth the money and my only regret is that I didn't buy them sooner. ... show more

I decided to upgrade the drill and impact driver from my 19V Craftsman set (quite old) to this model, and wow, am I impressed by the difference! The smaller batteries by DeWalt feel to deliver twice the power as the larger Craftsman batteries. The build quality and comfortable size of the yellow tools is immediately apparent. I put 5 stars for longevity anticipating that they will last, so please don't let me down. They also have a electric breaking feature that stops the rotation when you let up on the trigger that is much more apparent than in the old drill and driver I have. The set comes with (2) 1.5Wh batteries, which are really quite sufficient for most home projects, and they recharge in 30 minutes. I'll let you construction professionals pay for the 3, 4, and 5 Wh sizes! ... show more

Great tools as they are die hard!! Light to use and comes with two batteries as you will need them as it seems that over time the batteries will start to fade out a little bit.

Dewalt is a clear winner and very reliable and the battery life is great. The drill is on the weaker side but non the less have used and it works for lower end homeowner projects. The price for what you get is very good compared to purchasing the same item at one of the big home improvement stores. Powerful. Nice sturdy build yet small enough to get a good grip. I called support because after the battery sat on its charger the light never turned green. I thought that was an indication the battery Was bad. I have a Black and Decker and assumed incorrectly . Thank you support!!!
