The espresso machine from Amzchef arrives well packed inside a manufacturer box with good graphics and is suitable for gifting. The espresso maker is really compact, about 12" tall, 13" deep and 6.5" wide. It doesn't take much space at all so if you are a blended family of plain old coffee and steamed milk latte people, this is the machine for you because you can fit both on the counter! The stainless steel machine has a 50 ounce water tank, LCD display and an attached frother (it does not come with the pitcher.) There is a user guide to help explain the machine but it really isn't that complicated. It offers options for temperature, single or double cup, and just hot water. You can adjust the bar pressure to make a richer (more oil) or less fat brew. There's a grate at the top of the machine to place cups for pre-heating. This is a pretty user friendly model. Not a ton of bells and whistles; does a decent job. And it's always nice to have options for different coffee tastes. :) ... show more

I was a little skeptical to buy this after reading all those negative reviews. I have made 5-6 lattes, they all tasted really good. The frother works really well, better than a brand that I use at work. If it keeps working like this, I am very happy with the purchase and recommend this.

My first espresso machine to replace the one that uses pods. I like the flexibility of using any kind of coffee. The espresso tastes pretty good which I turn into an americano or latte. This has been pretty easy to set up and use. Hopefully it continues to perform well.

This is for someone that wants more than just a cup of joe in the morning and is willing to put some work into it. While this machine takes more than just one press of a button, it's really not as complicated as it seems. With the manual, common sense, and maybe a Youtube video or two, you'll be a home barista in no time. This is a very sleek machine and unlike most others, it doesn't take up as much counter space. The mug warmer on top is nice but not often used. We have not had any problems using this espresso maker. The milk steamer is the best part. The unit is a bit pricey, but to anyone that enjoys creating their morning drink, this is a must have. ... show more
