This clock is a WINNER all around. It is super bright and I can see the numbers easily. You don't need to set it on 4 ( brightest ). That lights up the whole room.....lol. Bought one for my elderly mom and then had to buy another my elderly aunt. They love this clock. It stays lit up, day or night which is important to them. Large, clear, easy to read display. I like this thing! I've bought two so far. One for my office at work and one for the room where I get ready in the morning. It' brightness is adjustable - so that's cool. I love that it has the date, day, time and temperature! Keeps me on track! The screen is large and visible from a reasonable distance. So far, I've just used it on table top - or on the top of a shelving unit. I haven't used the mounting pieces, but it does come with them if you want to mount on the wall. It also has a remove that makes it so much easier to set after a power outage. I don't have to retrieve it from the top shelf to set it, just use the handy remote! If I had a similar need again, I would purchase again! I've had the one in my office for over a year and just recently purchased the one in my "get ready" room. ... show more

I've tried several clocks, even those with auto set atomic time clocks, but those sound more great in theory than in reality. Their time was off more than any other clock in my home. In any case, I wanted a basic big digit accurate clock displaying date with day of week. This device fit the bill perfectly. It is all plastic construction, easy to hang either one point in center or two outboard, and power cable is plenty long, although it is USB on the end and not a regular two prong wall power connector, and does not come with a USB to two prong adapter, so keep that in mind. The remote is handy for easy access to functions, although so far I've only used it to adjust the brightness, and adjust the time. Since I've had it for a couple months now, though, the time is still on point. More than I can say for many other clocks I have that lose a minute or two every month. The battery backup is nice so if your power goes out it still keeps time and all other settings. Overall it's a great clock, although I still think these clocks are more expensive than they should be, but given similar clocks it is priced competitively. ... show more

Looks great, easy to read. I bought two of these. Only one of the remotes work... Fortunately, I use both clocks in the same house, so one remote is enough... and it is a good thing I have at least one remote because both clocks lose a minute or two about every month. I regularly have to calibrate them both. I needed two more at another location and bought models that automatically update via WiFi. That should have been my move from the beginning. ... show more
