The quality of light and the programmability of the unit is pro level. I purchased a second battery for the unit just to have lots of reserve power. However the battery seem to last quite well for TTL shooting where fill light is all that is needed. The back display is fairly straight forward and easy to understand and the instruction manual is as well. This is now my main speed light and all the other regular speed lights I have are used for on stands as fill lights in a room environment.

This is another tool in my photographic arsenal that I will put to great use. The accessories give me a lot to play with, the flash is solid and well constructed and the recycle time is pretty quick. Very pleased with my purchase.

Godox makes great flashes at even better prices. The V1 is close to the top of the line for their speedlights and I thought that was what I needed. I bought this kit which includes the accessory kit and it is a great kit. Solid, rugged flash body that runs on a lithium battery. The accessories clip on to the flash with magnets and you can stack them as needed. Totally brilliant design. My only complaint is the lithium battery. I ended up returning the kit because I really wanted a flash that runs on good old AA batteries which I have dozens for all of my equipment. Not saying I would not have gotten along just fine with the lithium, but I know I like stuff that uses AA batteries. If they made this same flash running on AAs I would buy it in a minute.
