AMAZING. I just bought a house, and both toilets were gross. I honestly thought I had clogged drains because my downstairs toilet flushed slowly, and the upstairs toilet didn't flush at all. I saw these toilets had decent reviews at first glance, but you never really know anymore until you get to test the product for yourself. I decided that I would try these toilets, mind you these were "pre-owned" in like new condition so I had no idea what to expect. Delivery was right on time, and BOTH toilets looked to be in flawless condition. As an added bonus all the flushing mechanics are pre-installed... Nice! Now for installation, I would recommend having the old toilet discarded and getting NEXT BY DANCO ALL-IN-ONE wax ring. This will work if your toilet flange is above, level, or below floor level. I would recommend a new water line as well if yours is old, the toilet doesn't need much line from the water connection, maybe 6-8 inches. As for the final conclusion. BOTH of my toilets flush perfectly now, didn't even need to auger the drain pipes like I thought I might. This is a fast and pretty powerful flush. No toilet swirling, no non-sense. Only problem I see one potentially facing is if you are taking massive craps and use a bunch of toilet paper, you may need a few flushes. But this is a water concervative toilet with great flushing power. Honestly better than I was expecting them to be so I decided it was worth leaving a review. Hope this helps someone, highly recommend for a toilet replacement that will be used regularly.

After dealing with the two 36 year-old temperamentally flushing toilets in our home, we've had enough of the plunging! Our research pointed to the American Standard Champion 4, elongated comfort-height one-piece toilet. The catch was our bathrooms were almond... It turns out that American Standard's bone finish is very close to the almond finish of other brands. We took the "plunge," and ordered our first American Standard toilet on July 6, 2023. Once our plumber installed it, the toilet's comfort and excellent flushing was so good, we ordered a second American Standard Champion 4 toilet on July 11, 2023, for our other bathroom. WOW -- it's the end of November 2023, and there hasn't been even a hint of a clog from either toilet. Hats off to Amazon for their well-cushioned outer carton, which ensured the toilet would arrive undamaged.

Terrible product—a complete waste of time. It has a crack at the bottom that is only visible when the bowl is filled with water. I was excited about it; it looked great until the plumber hooked up the water. I had to call multiple times just to get a special truck to come pick it up. If you don't want to waste your time, look for another option; I’ve been waiting for my refund for over a month.

The box from American Standard was inside a larger box that added a few inches all around with lots of padding so it arrived safely. Amazon delivered inside my door as advertised with great care. Delivery couldn't have gone better. Toilet came with a quick to remove seat. If my son moves on it, any sideways pressure the latch opens and releases the seat. The latch needs improvement. The toilet does not come with a wax/silicone ring or hold down bolts, you will need to buy whichever your preference is. The fill valve was a bit loose and leaked. It just needed the nut to be tightened a bit. Be sure the check it. The toilet is has a strong sudden flush. It would take allot to clog it. There is not much water running down from the rim to clean the bowl, but it's usually enough. The flush water enters at the bottom in a big rush to push the sides through. Look and finish are good. This is the second of these I bought, so yes I would buy again.

The media could not be loaded. Though being advertised as clogged Free, I must say there is no such thing as a clog free toilet and this American Standard is no exception. I purchased the Champion 4 one piece in May 2025 to replace the guest bath toilet in a house that I had just purchased. The toilet that I replaced was 10 years old and a cheap construction grade fixture that would clog by just looking at it. I bought the Champion 4 in part because of the larger trap size, the one piece construction, it being elongated and chair height. Installation was time-consuming not because of the toilet, but because I had to replace a broken toilet flange in a concrete floor. Once that was done, installation went smooth, though I did have to use shims to ensure the toilet was level. It's been in use for five months now and the only issues I've had is a flapper valve that has stuck on a couple of occasions and it clogging three times on the first flush, but cleared with a second flush with no need for a plunger. I have decided to buy a second Champion 4 to replace the old toilet in my bedroom bath. I had debated on whether or not to buy a higher seating American Standard model, but decided to go with the Champion 4 again because of the larger trap size and the fact that it is a 1.6 gallon flush, opposed to a 1.28 gallon. The fixture came well packed with clear and concise instructions. I recommend that you have two people to lift and set this toilet in place since it is quite heavy for one person. There was a significant price increase since the original purchase in May, so I am purchasing while it is now on sale which is still higher than the original purchase price of the first unit. Though not the perfect toilet it is in my opinion, better constructed and functions better than the Kohler one piece toilet that I had in my previous home. I do recommend the American Standard Champion 4.
