I was a bit confused by how it worked upon setting it up, and having to restart my computer multiple times for Synapse to update so I can access its settings was annoying too, but once I got past that...my god this is the best headset I've ever owned. Been wearing it for a few hours now so it's comfortable without making my ears sore, and it's my first noise cancelling headset which I'd say is true the more you turn the volume up loud enough, but perhaps I just took noise cancelling too literally since it's basically moreso quieter noise. It's not like I couldn't hear myself talk or clap, but it did well at masking my loud fan. I won't use the mic so I can't review that, but the star of the show is the audio quality. First I watched a Twitch stream of a team playing CS2 and the surround sound stuck out immediately with how I was basically able to hear literally everything from every direction sounds in the game are happening. Afterwards, I decided to finally finish watching a concert I was halfway through and I was absolutely blown away by how perfectly it replicated actually being there at a concert. I was at the same artist's concert recently, which was the highlight of my year so far, and I actually started to tear up because when I turned it all the way up to max volume, it sounded like I was there again. Then when they talked it sounded like my headset was directly connected to their soundboard audio. I bought this because I already had the Xbox Wireless Headset and was looking to upgrade. This headset checks all the boxes. All-day battery life. Fantastic sound quality. Awesome noise cancelling. Removable mic. Simultaneous connection with bluetooth. Volume dial. Also, it works with literally everything you could think of, and it says that right on the box. I only use an xbox, but I could see this be very appealing to someone who uses multiple platforms for gaming. To me, it seems like the final form of headsets. Universal compatibility. Using mainly on a PC and Sound wise great battery is great fits me comfortably the mic I've been told is lacking even after many fixes in the razer software on PC. For audio it's been fantastic tho and the wireless works great with long battery life.

I would like to add a few words from myself. I spent a lot of time choosing a headset. I personally don't see any problem with the fact that there are two pins to adjust the height, some people break them, but it doesn't interfere with the game. I'm fine with it. The second thing is the size of the ear cups. They are huge and very comfortable. It connects very quickly to the laptop. Now about the sound - it's very clear, but there are practically no bass. The bass is very weak, these headphones are not for music, they are suitable for classical music. I think Maxwell will be better in this regard. If you like bass, your choice is Scullcandy. The microphone is good. But how long you can connect and disconnect it without problems, time will tell. ANC works well. Overall, very comfortable ears. But I'm not sure you need to overpay for this model. There is no difference if you take a non-pro model. ... show more

For pros, this is probably the best audio I've experienced on a headset other than the Audeze Maxwell. It is also one of the most comfortable headsets I've ever worn. On to cons. The mic out of box does not sound great, it sounds like a downgrade from Blackshark v2. However by using custom EQs you can get it to sound really good. You will have to know what you're doing there or look them up on youtube (search gadgetrytech) in order to find an EQ that works. The sidetone sounds weak and muffled. This is a big deal for me as I like to hear a good strong sidetone. The final issue is connectivity. I turn on my Xbox, then I turn on this headset. The Xbox says "headset connected" or whatever the message is, however I can't hear any audio whether it is game or chat. It pics up my voice from my mic, as the party screen shows voice input and my friends say they can hear me. However I can't hear them and I can't hear game audio. The only way I've found to resolve this is unplugging the adapter from my Xbox and plugging it back in, and then it works fine. But I have to repeat this every time I turn on the headset. I have installed the newest firmware for the headset as well. I'm not sure if this is indicative of an issue that could get worse in time, so I'm probably just going to return these. I spoke to an Amazon rep in a web chat who offered to give me $100 refund to keep it and avoid the return process. I accepted as I figured I could always give the headset to a relative. He said this would be processed within 24 hours and I would receive an email confirming it. I got nothing. I contacted support again and this time did the phone call option. The lady I spoke to put me on hold a couple times to talk to her superior and I even referred her to my chat log from my previous webchat. Eventually she said she got the refund approved and that I would receive it along with email confirmation within 24 hours. It's been 3 days since that phone call and I got nothing. So I guess I'm just returning it now. This is a criticism of Amazon and not of the product, so this experience is not included in my rating of the product, it's more of an FYI and beware message for those who get a similar offer. ... show more
