Everything is perfect. Took one star off install because it took me 5 minutes to get the ground wire in behind the screw but I was watching some electricians recently install a different make GFI and they had the same problem. Maybe they are all that way? To keep the ground wire in place? Anyway the black and white wires take 20 seconds. Unit fits in nicely and works well. ... show more

    • Too sensitive! Trips on items that don't trip major brands like Eaton or Leviton GFCI outlets.

I have a couple of devices that trip it as soon as I turn them on. These same devices work perfectly on Eaton and Leviton GFCI outlets. My GFCI tester indicates it is properly wired and trips it when I push the button, just as it should. The major brand GFCI outlets also work properly according to my GFCI tester. However as soon as I turn on certain equipment, it immediately trips even when my other outlets work flawlessly with the same devices plugged in. *** Update *** replaced it with a Leviton GFCI and now everything works great. The Amazon basics seems to work great for "most" loads, but some electric motors would cause it to immediately trip, so I cannot recommend it for kitchens where various motorized appliances may need to plug into it. ... show more
