Wish the top was steel. The heavy duty packaging scratched my hardwoods when taking out of the box. Would have been nice if it came with a free set of liners so you would have the exact size. It would have nice to have a way to keep the liners hidden in a compartment on the trash receptacle.

I bought this to replace an Aldi brand one that we found in the impulse section. This outperforms that one in I think every way. It is large enough for my family, which I'll admit we don't produce all that much trash, but we do have recycling in my neighborhood and it is nice to be able to divide the trash in one can. The only complaint I have is that the handles being on the inside of the inside cans makes them catch on the bag when you are trying to remove them. It isn't abrasive or sharp, so It doesn't tear the bag, but it makes it harder to get out, impossible one-handed. ... show more

The split recycling/garbage compartments make for quick work of sorting out the garbage. The only thing is that the handles for pulling out each separated bin gets covered by the garbage bag.
