I normally wear minimalist shoes so I was skeptical of work boots in general. I had to get work boots because of the nature of my new job. I was very pleasantly surprised and quite impressed by the quality of these. The knuckles of my feet are fairly thick and so I often experience discomfort in the lower part of the toe box near the midfoot where the foot bends when walking. I was worried that these boots would not be large enough in that area. It turns out that these booys are perfect for me. After wearing them a few times I found them to be incredibly comfortable, including in the toe box. The insides feel very robust and sturdy yet also very comfortable with no hard edges or seems or anything of the sort causing any discomfort. These boots are "cushy" inside yet robust. The material inside does not peel or fray or anything of the sort. Also, the outsole is thick but does not have a prominently raised heel meaning there is not much of a lift and the outsoles somehow return your energy as you walk and do not feel spongy.     • Awesome boot with a couple caveats

These boots are hands down the most comfortable work boots that I have found. But there are drawbacks you should be aware of. They are not waterproof in any way. They don't advertise that they are so I don't hold that against them but if your work environment involves being outside you should plan accordingly. I use these as my "daily" boots and I have another pair of leather caterpillars for wet or very cold days. I work on a concrete surface and I've noticed that as these age the sole foam kind of collapses. I usually have to replace the boots about once a year. When I start to notice ankle pain or soreness, I replace them. These go on sale a couple of times a year, it's a smart move to buy a standby pair when they're cheap, often below $100. The same thing that makes them light and comfy does mean they get torn up easily. I work as a mechanic for reefer trailers and after 8 months they have a significant hole somewhere on the shoe. I also want to say I use these outside of work for when my family goes somewhere that involves a lot of walking as these are more comfortable than my other shoes after a couple of hours in them. I love these boots and I will continue to buy them, I just want folks to understand what they're buying. I personally recommend buying the wide Version of your size, the boot almost feels like a sock when it's all laced up and the toe box kinda bows inward and my second toe starts to push over onto my big toe as the boot ages. I noticed the symptoms of this are lessened by buying the wides. Also I love that there is virtually no break in period. These are comfy right out of the box. ... show more

I've been wearing these shoes 5 days a week for the last 3 years and they've held up great for me! I work in aviation maintenance. They've been comfortable on a daily basis, walking the flight line, climbing up maintenance scaffolding, and on aircraft. The treadmill is just now starting to debond from the soles of the shoes. But otherwise, the the treadmill is still holding up even with the wear. I wear a size 10, and these are true to size for me. My experience with these shoes has been overall awesome. Hey everyone. I really do like these work boots. I used them on a daily basis from Monday to Friday and occasionally on Saturdays (OT 😉), 8 hours or longer a day. I worked them hard. I prefer these to actual work boots only because of the cushion. They’ve got that hiking boot feeling, are very lightweight (unlike the usual work boots), and ride low to the ground. I don’t like boots that sit high. I work in the electrical department so the added carbon fiber toe protection is an added bonus for me. Personally, I thought those eyelet shoe lace inserts were gonna fall apart but as you can see in the pics, they outlasted the bottom sole. And that’s the drawback. The outer sole of the shoes started getting unglued almost 10 months after I bought them which was a huge drawback. I really like these boots. I liked them so much I decided to glue them back on myself. Obviously, that didn’t last; not even a week. If somehow they used the stitch method of most work boots they’d probably last longer, but that’s just wishful thinking. In hindsight, I did use these boots in the rain, so maybe that’s what caused the soles to unglue, but you’d think that with a product like KEEN, they’d get this right. I wouldn’t mind spending a little more for this added benefit. So keeping all this in mind, I decided to buy another pair and give it another shot. The comfort of these boots for me, outweighs the unglued soles. Go figure. Hope you have better luck with these than I do. ... show more

    • 3 toed lizzard men are taking over

3 toed lizzard men... These are not Keen.. The are typical pointed in the middle narrow , shallow toe chinese made junk. If you were looking for hot weather ventilated safety toe shoes that fit like the older wide flat toe Keens,, these arnt it.

Really like these boots. They’re light, the sole is flexible and firm, and there’s lotta room under the composite cap. I’m a draw bridge operator, I’m up and down a lot (drawbridge pun) and these are comfortable and supportive whatever I’m doing on the bridge. I’m 6’4” 200 pounds.

Only reason i’m not giving them 1 star is because they have barely managed to scrape by for why i purchased them and are about trashed before 2.5 months of wear. The arch support is almost nonexistent, the protection from 1/2 inch screws is poor as i’ve felt many screw poke through the soles.
