Description

Here is the union of a durable, protective light duty work boot and comfortable, high-performance outdoor boot. With KEEN.ReGEN midsole for all- day comfort, and the slip-resistant, non-marking outsole adds resilient support. Weighing 18.9 oz / 537 g (per boot), made with durable, water- resistant leather and featuring a moisture-wicking lining the Vista Energy Mid Composite Toe work boots for men are built off KEEN's traditional wider footwear form. KEEN Utility products offer removable insoles. These dependable work boots are great for light-duty work in maintenance, manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution. All KEEN Utility products use a natural, probiotic-based technology called CleansportNXT for breaking down odor in sweat; while also sourcing leather from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG) which is the gold-standard for responsibly sourced leather. KEEN Utility believes in creating work boots that make work and life better. To further support that mission, KEEN Utility has been “Putting Good to Work” through its non-profit partnerships within the Project Build program. From helping put veterans back on their feet to supporting conservation corps work across the country, KEEN Utility puts good to work, first.

  • Awesome boot with a couple caveats
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Black/Raven
These boots are hands down the most comfortable work boots that I have found. But there are drawbacks you should be aware of. They are not waterproof in any way. They don't advertise that they are so I don't hold that against them but if your work environment involves being outside you should plan accordingly. I use these as my "daily" boots and I have another pair of leather caterpillars for wet or very cold days. I work on a concrete surface and I've noticed that as these age the sole foam kind of collapses. I usually have to replace the boots about once a year. When I start to notice ankle pain or soreness, I replace them. These go on sale a couple of times a year, it's a smart move to buy a standby pair when they're cheap, often below $100. The same thing that makes them light and comfy does mean they get torn up easily. I work as a mechanic for reefer trailers and after 8 months they have a significant hole somewhere on the shoe. I also want to say I use these outside of work for when my family goes somewhere that involves a lot of walking as these are more comfortable than my other shoes after a couple of hours in them. I love these boots and I will continue to buy them, I just want folks to understand what they're buying. I personally recommend buying the wide Version of your size, the boot almost feels like a sock when it's all laced up and the toe box kinda bows inward and my second toe starts to push over onto my big toe as the boot ages. I noticed the symptoms of this are lessened by buying the wides. Also I love that there is virtually no break in period. These are comfy right out of the box. ... show more

  • Comfortable Comfortable
Size: 12 Color: Vapor/Black
Really like these boots. They’re light, the sole is flexible and firm, and there’s lotta room under the composite cap. I’m a draw bridge operator, I’m up and down a lot (drawbridge pun) and these are comfortable and supportive whatever I’m doing on the bridge. I’m 6’4” 200 pounds.

  • Plenty of comfort, longevity
Size: 11 Color: Vapor/Black
The Keen Vista is a safety toed work boot that flexes and breathes for all day comfort. I work as a Union Carpenter and spend all day on my feet whether it's on concrete floors or ladders, climbing onto or under counter tops and tables, these boots have me covered. They have superior breathability so your feet don't sweat and the comfort of the material feels much like a sneaker. The composite safety toe is just as durable as comparable steel toed boots I've owned and hold up just fine to kicking large cabinets and tables into place. I typically get about a year and a half out of a pair before the material starts to tear where my toes flex. That's more than acceptable when considering the daily abuse I put them through. I am on my third pair and will continue to buy them in the future. ... show more

  • Smash
Size: 10 Color: Black/Raven
Top tier boots for price. I definitely recommend getting a solid pair of insoles. If you wear these every day for 10hours the insoles will get smashed pretty quick.

  • Good value when on sale, otherwise Just Okay Good value when on sale, otherwise Just Okay
Size: 9.5 Color: Vapor/Black
Mixed bag. I've been an automotive technician for 18 years and as such, I've gone through a LOT of different boots that meet my unique demands. I tend to like something extremely light and breathable that feels more like a shoe. These do breathe pretty well, are very light and supportive. Good value for the on-sale price of $75 I paid, but I'd be a bit disappointed if I paid over $100 for these. -What I don't like: - The glue on the outsole is pretty bad. I had to make my first repair after TWO DAYS! Google and you'll see others saying how Keen's glue seems to be a lot worse these days than it used to be. I've had to do my own repair in about 6-8 spots on each shoe where the smaller portions of the tread come unglued, and I'm really not rough on shoes or boots. Having to make my own repair after just two days is pretty wildly bad. The rear of the heel on one started coming unglued as well after about 3 weeks. Instead of Shoe-Goo that takes a while to set up, I needed a fast repair at the shop while working and just used gelled Super Glue, which has held up perfectly fine, MUCH better than whatever KEEN is using! :D Speaking of the heel, it has a curved profile, sort of like a driving shoe...it's a nice feature UNLESS you don't walk with perfectly straight feet (out-toeing or duck feet, especially my right foot). This meant that it was pretty awkward the first week or two wearing these, having to re-train my legs. -You WILL need insoles. I messed up trying the expensive FORM insoles that I'm not happy with, but they're still an improvement over what come inside these, but that's pretty standard. ... show more
