  • It’s pretty good, especially at a Black Friday sale price.
Style: Manual Control
I really should pickup an 2nd one as the sale ends Friday. I already have a Lasko Tower, but I wanted to try an oil filled heater to use with my Bluetti solar generator. These require some time to heat up a room, so it’s likely best to just leave it on 24/7 during the coldest days. Having a warm room is much more comfortable that sitting in front of a heat source blowing hot air at you. If you’re up close to it you might think this will never warm a room, but let it run on high for an hour or two and you’ll realize the whole room is at a comfortable level. Not too hot or too cold.. Their idea of a thermostat is a rotary knob, min to max, that you rotate counter clockwise until you hear a click. It will then maintain that particular temp. It has 3 settings, and the highest one draws around 1530 watts at first, then cycles down to around 600 watts, cycling up and down as needed. You never hear it cycle, nor feel it as it outputs a steady amount of heat. The most current it pulls is 12.4 amps, so try not to plug in too many other gadgets into the same outlet if they are typical 15 amps (as in most homes.) The fins can get pretty warm to the touch, but not too hot to where it would burn before you can pull your hand back. ... show more

  • Perfect size for what I need
Style: Manual Control
This Radiator Heater is actually much smaller than I anticipated. I’ve used these before (several years ago) in a small house up in the Arkansas Foothills. 2 of them kept the entire house toasty warm during the winter, snow and all. Therefore I figure that this 1500 watt heater will warm my little RV Trailer just fine. In fact, after I heat it up I should be able to turn it down to a low setting to maintain a very nice temperature, no matter how cold the night gets. Especially since I live in the South West Louisiana area, right on the Coast. The height is about what I remember but it looks a lot shorter from end to end than I was expecting. I am retired and want to get out of renting expensive apartments and live in this tiny home traveling from park to park. I have my plans to enjoy my retirement as much as possible, and that includes AC in the Summer and Heat in the Winter. I am much satisfied with this purchase. ... show more

  • Puts out decent heat
Style: Manual Control
I use this in a large room that is difficult to keep heated. It helps to keep warm fending off the drafty door.

  • Pretty good in most aspects
Style: Digital Control
So I give it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: The "Eco Mode" is NOT like the Eco Mode on other space heaters I've used (where it turns off when the room is at a certain temp & then turns back on when it cools off, at least it doesn't seem to work that way), and the build is a bit wonky looking. I haven't used the remote control at all because this is being used in a bathroom mostly to keep it warm at night so morning showers aren't in a cold bathroom. I used it all winter for this & it worked very well, I think the highest I ever had to put it was 74F, and that was when it was getting down to 0F or below 0F outside. The bathroom is decent sized but not huge, and it does a very good job. Timer works as you would expect... that's pretty much it. My other space heater is a Pelonis, that's used in a bedroom - I would say this thing is slightly inferior to that, but the price difference pretty much makes up for it, the tipping point for the Pelonis being the bedroom heater & the Amazon one being the bathroom heater was the Eco Mode. The Pelonis' Eco Mode works perfectly, warms the room up then shuts off til it cools off a fair bit again, I can set it at 65F during semi-cold nights & it keeps it between 68-70F in here, and during the super cold nights, the highest I had to go was the 75F setting, and this room is fairly large. ... show more

  • worth it
Style: Manual Control
small space heater using 'fins' with oil inside. For small spaces it's ok but rather slow heating up. I am unaware of any timer function.

  • Simple, Basic heater
Style: Manual Control
Non compensated personal purchase. Was searching for simple heater with basic mechanical features instead of fancy electronics that would break/fail and not be able to replace. This unit is much less expensive than other options and fits the Amazon Basics label criteria. Worked out of the box. On knob is labelled I - II - III and should correspond to 600, 900, and 1500 watts. The termostat temperature knob is uncalibrated and you hear a click to turn it on or off. This has potential to last a long time. purchased this to even out the electric furnace, due to the oil filled radiator. Fins on the unit have more surface area because of the 'bending' and it seems more like a gimmick than an effective feature - it does mean the total fin area can run coller, while providing heat, but it's likely too hot to touch comfortably when running. Would purchase again. I am not interested in paying 2x the price for an electronic control that allows temperature setting that may or may not be accurate and is subject to breaking. ... show more

  • Worth Every Penny
Style: Digital Control
I got this used like new for $51.98. It looks fine and it works but the remote was not included. I called customer service and asked for a remote but they can't do that, they just said send it back. It works fine without the remote, it has buttons, but they gave me my money back instead of the hassle of a return, so it was free. I've turned it on and it works. I have another 1500 watt radiator in another room and it's very nice in the winter. It's radiant heat, it doesn't warm the air. The size of the room doesn't matter nearly as much as your distance from the radiator. Think of how warm the coals of a campfire are. They don't heat the air around the campsite but they do heat the people sitting nearby. If this is your only heat source it may keep a room warm but it's best for heating your comfortable spot in your forced air heated home. This can't be turned on with a smart plug. In mid October my furnace stopped working for a few days and this kept my front room nice and warm on chilly mornings. ... show more

  • Great buy
Style: Digital Control
It’s a very good space heater. When I bought it the price was good. Hope the current inflation rate has not affected the price. It heats well and I use it in my room. Wow the remote is a life saver too.
