The media could not be loaded. Eighteen 8”x16” bricks + grate + this ring = nice fire pit. I just placed the bricks without mortar so could move this around if I wanted to. It was also easier to haul and place than gravel for a fire barrier under the ring. It is easier to clean the ash after a fire too. Just pick up the ring (and grate) then sweep the ashes.. The ring was easy to assemble. The only issue I had was that the hardware bag had a split on the side so it took me a while to find the screw that fell out of the box and into the grass when I first opened it. The ring is a little flexible, not the kind you should rest your feet on. However, I think it is a good value for the asking price.

The media could not be loaded. This product easily installs together in just a few minutes. It comes with 8 bolts, 8 nuts, a wrench, instructions and 4 overlapping metal pieces that connect with two sets of bolts/nuts at each overlap. The bag that holds the hardware had torn open during transport, and most of the nuts & bolts were loose throughout the box (though none were missing). The assembled ring is lightweight and easy to move but sits securely in place. It looks nice, is made well, and performs as needed.

This is just what it should be: an attractive low-cost option for backyard fires. It's much larger than I was somehow expecting. I mean, yes, it's 36" in diameter, but I didn't process ahead of time how large that would be with firewood in it. It comes in four pieces and is screwed together -- quite straightforward. The metal is not super thick, so the resulting ring can be contorted a bit, e.g., when you're moving it into place. I will consider getting a Solo or another fancy schmantzy 'smokeless' solution, but for now, I'm happy with this affordable option.

As you can see from the pictures I assembled this in my bedroom. I'll carry it outside later, I promise. The ring is quite sturdy, but still light enough for a single person to carry. It comes with 8 screws and bolts, as well as a small flat wrench. You will need to provide a Phillips head screwdriver like the one pictured to complete your assembly. Although, to be honest, you could probably get away with finger tightening these. It comes in four pieces. I'm assuming the wrench, nuts and screws were in a tiny plastic bag, but when I opened the box they were loose in the bottom. Fortunately, everything was there. The pattern in this is the same on all four panels so no need to put them in any order. Over all it is a very easy to assemble nice looking piece. I will update this review if there is any warping or discoloration with use. Recommended! Mixed 70lb Lab for scale.

Shipping was super fast with this fire ring. The packaging wasn’t that great. This fire ring comes in several sections and there are bolts that hold it together. 2 bolts per section to be exact. The pieces was laying in a box that was destroyed during the shipping process. Somehow during the shipping all but 3 of the bolts was lost. This wasn’t a big deal to me because I work industrial maintenance so I have tons of bolts laying around my garage so I was easily able to replace them. Not everyone will have that luxury so they should really find a better way to package the bolts so they don’t get lost. The fire ring itself is super nice and even though the box had a lot of damage the actual ring was just fine. There was no dents or scratches to the fire ring. Because of how nice the fire ring is and how I really like the look I had to give this 5 stars. It is really awesome and worth picking up. I’m sure that the packaging doesn’t always get beat up so I’m not going to do k any stars just because of that. As I said there was no damage to the actual fire ring so I was happy with it.

I got this to set out in our yard so we have a designated spot to have a little campfire and for me to have a spot where I can burn boxes. Packaging wasn’t the best but my hardware was luckily still in tact in the bag. Installation was easy - you get 4 pieces and then you attach each side with the nuts and bolts with the wrench that is included. This isn’t a heavy duty fire pit or anything just a simple thin piece of metal to help make a spot where your fire is contained. This would also be nice to take camping with you although it does take up quite a bit of room (it would fit fine in the back of a truck). So far I’ve burned some Amazon boxes inside of it with no issues and it helped them not blow away. Once summer comes I’m sure we will roast some marshmallows and hotdogs and sit around it.
