I purchased this heater for my paver patio. This is a perfect solution for an easy, instant, and intuitive way to keep warm and avoid smelling like smoke. This heater warms up quick and puts out enough heat, similar to a 20-inch solo wood burning fire pit. My unit heater knob initially, needed to be primed in order to consistently work, as I took the knob off and pumped the gage three solid times and it now turns on everytime. This heater can be used any where, as the base stays cool to the touch and I would recommend purchasing the lid to deflect more heat to the lower portion of the body when sitting with no flame in use. I've been looking for a firepit for a long time that has a high BTU. This is the first one that looks good, puts out the heat and small enough to put on a deck. The top fire lights for heat and ambiance and the lower puts out a lot of heat. With the wheels I put on it is very easy to move around. I do like the option to light either the flame or the heater or both. I also like the feature to adjust the setting for the amount of heat. My only negative is you have to hold down the starter for over 10 seconds to get it to light but once its lit, let there be heat! ... show more

Ninja does it again. This Fierside360 heater puts out a good amount of heat while adding ambiance and decor to my outdoor living space. The heater is lager than I expected, but it doesn't bother me and I should've expected the larger size to be able to fit a 20lb propane tank inside. The fireplace portion is just gorgeous and not whimpy at all. This heater fits perfectly on my covered deck where a tall, stand up propane heater wound be unsightly near the roof of my deck and cumbersome to move around. With this Ninja Firesied360, you can place it in the center of a deck and feel the heat comfortably in about a 10ft x 10ft space on a 50 degree day. The color and feel of the heater and controls are solid as expected from any Ninja product. It's a bit on expensive side, but I truly believe it's worth the investment. I'd recommend this product to those seeking a quality heater (like myself) that will do the job. ... show more

UPDATE: bought this heater in October and it no longer ignites. Of course my window for returning has closed. This heater is amazing. I'm running on the low setting in 45°, and it's literally heating the whole porch. The only reason I knocked one star off is because it came with a big dent in the side. My husband was able to get most of it out knowing it would be too much of a pain to ship back. This heater is definitely worth the money, you won't regret it! ... show more

This thing puts out some heat! Even on the lowest setting, I was able to sit a few feet away and still feel warm. At the highest setting, it can be felt about 10 feet away. The flame feature looks cool and puts out a relatively low amount of heat, but I don't see that as a negative. Setup was pretty easy, although it was kind of hard to see how the igniter battery gets installed. Without a propane bottle, it's easy to move, but it is fairly heavy with a full bottle. I also really like how it looks, especially the glow of the heater section. While it's on the higher priced side of gas fire tables, it's built well and works as advertised. For the price, I feel like it should come with a cover, but I was able to get one easily enough. ... show more

The big question before I purchased this was whether it would be worth the price. We spent this past weekend using it and I do recommend but have to mention just a few things. When you connect to a new propane tank, this thing really blasts the heat. We used this in our partially enclosed outdoor patio. For those sitting two to three feet away they felt they had to turn down because the heat was so awesome coming from it. The downside, after about an hour and a half as the tank went down, we noticed if you have the top and bottom on as the tank is not full the heat level goes down drastically even though there is still propane in it. As the tank goes down we found we would turn the bottom off and keep the top on and you would see a bigger flame. This was disappointing to me because you expect both to work equally until an empty tank. Overall this works very well. I'm not sure as of this point yet if it was worth $500, but if you are looking for heat and another option from wood. ... show more
