  • Beautiful sturdy fire table Beautiful sturdy fire table
Color: Brown
to start.. I want to mention that I dont write reviews but after a long time of tedious searching and critiquing fire tables I wanted to give some honest feedback on this fire table because the current reviews are all over the place. I was nervous purchasing this because its a good amount of money and some of the reviews mentioned broken or bent parts with no repair or replacement options. I'll break the review out for simplicity. Shipping/packaging: 5 stars.. unit came earlier than expected (gave me a date window due to covid and it arrived earlier than expected). The unit is packaged very very well. Took me about the same time to unpack everything as it did to install. Every piece is wrapped and strapped together to prevent any moving or rubbing during Shipping. *for those who received broken or bent pieces it is no fault of the company and I would blame the delivery method* Installation: 5 stars .. super easy, just read the directions first. Yes, there's 3 different types of screws.. which seems obvious to me but I guess not to everyone else. The instructions are clear as each screw is numbered, you just have to keep track which is which. Entire process took me about 30-40 min as I went slow screwing things in because I had previously read reviews saying the holes were not machined correctly..this was certainly not the case for me as everything went in smoothly without much effort. Heat output: 3 - 4 stars.. its summer and the 3 times I've used it its been 80 degrees so its hard to judge heat output. Sitting close you can definitely feel it but im just not sure if its enough for those cooler months. It could easily be. Looks/build quality: 5 stars.. its very sturdy once together. The propane shelf slides easily and closes tight and seamless. The wicker is of good quality and thick. When fully assembled its a very nice stand alone statement piece for our deck. There's gotta be a few Cons right?? Well of course, as not everything is perfect. For me its the ignition unit, like a ton of the other reviews, it just doesn't always work for some reason. Its finicky as to when it lites the propane and when it doesn't. I still need to play around with it as it could be user error. To me this doesn't even warrant a negative comment as its easily remedied with a grill lighter. Lastly, because of all the reviews about the metal top becoming stained by water or anything else, I purchased a clear matt finish can of hight heat rustoleum to spray on the metal top. This will help to ensure no staining or tarnishing. I expect this to remedy any future issues simply and easily. To finish, if you made it this far I appreciate it. It took me a while to find the correct fire table for my needs. This one looks fantastic and has the build quality to last a while. I'm quite happy with my purchase and would highly recommend. Cheers!🍻 ... show more

  • A Great Deal on a Fire Table
Color: Brown
We will use this as both a table and fire feature in our back yard by the pool We needed to replace our rickety old plastic round table anyway so this was big enough to fill that niche. The finish is a very dark brown and fits our earth tone theme. I have yet to light it up but am feeling positive about the outcome. When assembling this table you need to realize that the top and bottom of the support structure have different dimensions, with the upper area slightly (around 2") wider than the bottom. This means you need to pay attention when assembling or you will think that the kit is all wrong! The instructions are pretty good but they make no mention of this aspect. All screws were included, in three lengths but the same Allen bolt size, #6. The whole assembly is fairly light when out of the box so you can carry and move it easily. Nice quality and looks! A follow up. We have only used this table once, and it was difficult to get going. For some reason the propane regulator was not allowing gas to pass to the burner area, which makes this impossible to use. It did pop open for some reason after while and we were able to get it lit, that time. We just tried this again last night and no go. That darned regulator is sticking closed, I believe. I will have to try and replace it somehow. Otherwise it is a fine piece in the back yard! I bought a replacement regulator but I think that I did not realize that you need to push the control knob in when trying to light this thing! When you do you can hear a rush of gas and then you push the ignitor button, Voila! Flames about 12" high if you aren't careful! Just adjust the gas flow downwards. Nice to get it lit! ... show more

  • Buy it! Buy it!
Color: Gray
We searched for quite a while and I initially found one I absolutely loved but it was $2,200! I almost made the purchase but gave myself another day to look around. I found this one and read a ton of the reviews and was sold. It really is beautiful and very easy to assemble and use. The other one I was thinking about was charging extra for both the glass wind guard and the cover! So to have both included in this one was amazing. We did buy different color stones to add more color to the flames. When it came, there was a hole in the box so we were worried and sure enough there was a ding in the top of the table when we opened it. I wrote an email to the customer service dept. and within an hour they replied. I had only asked for a replacement table top, but they explained they could not send just a certain piece. Instead they offered us a 20% refund if we kept it in the condition it was in. Since it was a very small ding, we accepted the refund! It was handled very quickly and professionally. The table itself it a nice size too, and we even left the cover on as a tablecloth for an impromtu small mothers day outdoor brunch. It was perfect! I've also been reading a lot of comments about the ignitor not working and having to use a lighter. I'll say that happened to us once, but my husband figured out that if you hold in the ignitor, push in the dial to light the flame, let the ignitor go, but hold in the dial a bit longer, the flame stays lit. Using this technique, we've not had the problem again. I hope it helps others. One last thing, we also have a wood fire pit that we love as well, and you really cannot compare the heat output in my opinion from a wood fire pit to a gas fire pit but the ambiance is awesome and we love having the option to use one or the other or both! Enjoy it if you buy it, we have been absolutely loving it! ... show more

  • Good value, good (not great) material, one issue that turned out to be a reasonably easy fix
Color: Gray
There's a LOT of value in this fire pit table. I was going to build my own, but after finding this one, I just couldn't build one cost effectively in comparison. The materials, while good and not excellent. Good enough though. I like the fact it comes with the wind guard and cover. Both are excellent and the cover, in fact, is truly quite good - much better than the covers I recently purchased for my patio furniture (not cheap ones). I like the glass it comes with, but I felt I needed to supplement it with another 10lbs of glass (ordered and on its way). Even with the purchase of extra glass, the value is excellent. It went together quickly and well. I had an issue with one bolt that I need to address, but it's a minor point and there is another bolt less than 2" away, so I'm not concerned. I had a problem initially that the gas would not stay on without holding the control knob pressed in. After some research, I found it was likely to be the thermocouple. I adjusted the height of the thermocouple and it seemed to work. But, after about 15 minutes, it was back to needing the control knob held pressed in. I didn't know if it was the thermocouple or the valve at fault. I sought a new part from the company, put they don't offer any replacement parts. Their only solution was to return it or a partial refund. Returning was going to be a hassle, and I'm pretty handy, so I took the partial refund with the intention of replacing both the valve and thermocouple. When looking at the thermocouple so I could source a replacement I readjusted the height. At the last minute I also decided to check the connection to the valve. BINGO! The thermocouple was not even finger tight. I screwed it in snuggly with a wrench and that solved the problem. Now I'm very happy with it. If I were not handy enough to work the problem on my own, I'd probably be frustrated, but the fix turned out to be very easy and it gets 4 stars from me. ... show more

  • Great Product But A Bit Tough To Assemble
Color: Gray
We love the final product, it is a work of art and gives our back deck a warm and friendly appearance. Two things: Buy some different glass pebbles, preferably the aqua blue glass ones. The ones included are brown and not very pleasant to look at. Amazon sells the blue glass ones separately for about $20. Second, it took my wife and I 2.5 hours to assemble it. The instructions are not easy to follow and you have to occassionally step back and just figure out how it should go together. Its not hard to do, but you can't rely on the instructions alone. Also, a couple of the screw holes are poorly drilled. Don't be upset if you can't get in all the screws. There are enough that will go in to hold it all together. But it is worth the effort to take time and get it together. It is a fantastic product. We run the flames and sit on opposite sides. There is more than a sufficient ledge to put plates and drinks on. We just used it the other night when the temp outside was about 45 degrees and it was perfect. Kept us comfortable and the glass around the flames just adds the lovely ambience of the fire. I would recommend this to others to buy. Tom ... show more

  • Get fired up on a great patio piece Get fired up on a great patio piece
Color: Gray
Took about an hour to assemble with easy to follow instructions. Took about another hour to open and unwrap the two boxes as this unit was very carefully packaged and as a result there was no shipping damage. The only challenge is there are three different screw lengths so just use the correct screw as made clear in the illustrated instructions. I used a drill/driver with a clutch that ensures consistent torque on the screws. I am very pleased with the quality of this table and the heat output in my 40 degree F garage. Photos show the assembled unit, flame, flat table configuration and cover. The included black weather cover is quite durable. The glass windscreen arrives in the second box and is also carefully packaged. I'm now looking for an appropriate sized box to stow the rectangular glass assembly when not in use. Otherwise this is everything you need for an outdoor fire table that easily seats six people with plates. ... show more

  • Really nice for price Really nice for price
Color: Gray
We love this table. Thr chairs are from pottery barn snd each is more than the price of this table. We love fire pits and all were way too much mo ey. We found this and trusted the reviews. Ot took my husband about an hour to actually assemble and a bit more to unpack and clean up. HE ADVISES DONT TIIGHTE TEN SCREWS UNTIL THE VERY END. And he did it without beer! He was careful and it came together. It looks really nice and the height is safe for your pets. It is also roomy for your drinks and plates. We ordered different color stones. It seems very well made and all the pieces were in box! The flame output is impressive and you can feel the heat. The glass surrounding is such a nice touch. ... show more

  • well made, easy to assemble, no issues
Color: Brown
Good instructions, easy to assemble, solid and attractive. We easily understood that you must press in on the gas knob when lighting in order to keep the gas flowing, much like a gas water heater. One change I would make, wrap the glass pack in strapping tape. As soon as we opened the glass box, one of the glass sheets slide out from between the styrofoam sheets and fell to a tile floor. Good news, it only chipped one end, which we hid under one of the assembly clips. But be careful pulling the stack of glass plates out of the smaller packing box. There's nothing holding them together. ... show more
