I purchased the Free & Clear version after developing skin sensitivities from scented detergents. The biggest selling point for me was the price, which is noticeably lower than many comparable options. The detergent is easy to use, truly fragrance-free, and hypoallergenic. It is a good product, especially for the price. But i like my laundry to smell like detergent. The detergent itself (out of the bottle) smells nice, but i have already done 3 loads of laundry with it and you can't really smell the scent on the clothes/towels/blankets/sheets/etc. The first load was a smaller load so we didn't use too much detergent, but after i realized i could not smell it i upped the amount on the next two loads and still nothing. I do have sensitive skin, as well as my daughter, and neither of us seem to be effected by it. It is a good sized bottle and cleans the clothes well, but if you are also wanting whatever you are washing to smell like this. I would look at other options. ... show more

First time using this, today! Wow, it really cleaned my clothes great! I was surprised at how little you use. I think this is better than the name brands that I have been using. I won't go back to those more expensive brands. I bought unscented. I really like that. My clothing smelled fresh. I did use some fabric softener too. Edit: bought the Lavender scent. It’s a great product. Unfortunately I had to use 3 capfuls to create a few suds (one capful was the suggested amount). I have soft water. I live in bush Alaska & I have to fly products in. I will definitely purchase it again in larger quantities so I don’t run out between deliveries.

This detergent works well for me. I do t have heavily soiled clothes so I can’t say how well it cleans grease or dirt. It has a pleasant fragrance that doesn’t linger in my clothes. I will order it again.
