I don’t usually get the pods because I always want to use two despite the size of the load but I purchased liquid tide as well so I save money and control the amount I use. I've always thought all detergents are the same. Not any more! A few weeks ago we accidently set a big bottle of vegetable oil on our smooth surface cooktop. The bottle melted and we had oil all over out kitchen. We used beach towels to clean it up. Those towels and the T Shirt my husband was wearing were saturated in oil. We've washed multiple times with our other detergent and soaked the items in vinegar water. Nothing would get that old oil smell out. I saw someone recommend Tide Hygienic Clean to a fast food employee who was asking how to get the smell out. We were about to throw the towels and shirt out, so I decided to try this product.
