I was always into Tide since I can remember my mother using it our whole childhood and now 54 I find Gain is a much more pleasant scent for laundry this size last us a little over 6 weeks and I pay hardly any real difference from other brands. I love the clean feeling after you put on your scented clothes and smells so great people ask me what I use. I now add the Gain laundry booster beads for extra freshness. I’ve been using this Gain Original scent detergent for several months now and I’m really impressed. The large 154 fl oz bottle gives me plenty of loads (the listing says around 107) and it works in my HE washer just like it says. The laundry comes out clean and fresh, and the fragrance truly lasts—my clothes smell great even days after washing. I also appreciate that it’s “regular + HE compatible,” so I don’t have to buy a separate product for my machine. The scent is its standout: crisp, clean, and pleasantly noticeable without being overpowering. I’ve had friends comment on how good my clothes smell when they visit. One small thing: because the bottle is so big, it’s a little bulky to handle when pouring. But it’s a minor inconvenience considering the value and performance.
