If Available Consider The Amazon Used! Just Bought (2) At Huge Discount To Get (2) Brand-new Bars With Open Flaps Advertised As Good Condition! They Are Mint Condition! I Have These Mounted Indoors & Out And Zero Rust! They Are Solid As A Rock Mounted With Only (2) Screws One On Top And One On Bottom When Your Only Going Into A Stud in the Wall. This Product Is Identical to the Home Depot Grab Bars Just Different Brand Names and Packing Materials But Made In The Same Plant With Same Brackets! I Bought The Delta Brand 36" And Figured It Would Be As Good Or Better But I Was Wrong! The Covers That Fit Over The Hardware are crap With The Delta and the Mounting Welded Flanges Only have 3 Holes. The Amazon Basics and Home Depot (SAME PRODUCT) Are More an Industrial Grab Bar with No Fancy Stylish Junk. The 36" Home Depot is $90 and the Amazon Basics is $31.40 and are The Same Exact Identical Product Made in The Same Manufacturing Plant, The Delta Brand Is Different But Not Better! Solid and nice looking

The rail is both nice looking and sturdy. Downgraded for flimsy Phillips screw heads that couldn't take the torque even with fully drilled pilot holes. Had to back one out by hand, no fun. Used my own deck screws to finish installation.

I had to order several different bars from different sellers because they labeled it 36" but it wasn't. This bar is exactly what I ordered and works great.

Have mounting flanges welded to bar
Style: 1.25-Inch Diameter Size: 24 Inch
Every other grab bar I've purchased requires mating the mounting flange to the bar via a bolt. You then have to adjust that flange so that you can drill holes for the mounting screws. It's a pain and can lead to loosely mounted bars on your wall when you're still learning how to mount them. These bars have the flanges welded on the bar so you're ready to mark and drill straight out of the box. It's not only a big time savings, I believe it's a safety enhancement. This was so for both the 24" and 36" grab bars I purchased. These Amazon Basics brand bars will be the ones I buy in the future for my other bathroom projects. ... show more

Strong and Sturdy

These are Strong and Sturdy. I ordered 2 after my wife had knee replacement surgery to provide support in the bathroom. These are very solid and do a great job. They came with Phillips head screws that did not fill me with confidence, so I installed them with Torx head deck screws. My wide said the bar I put by the bathtub wall was slippery with wet hands so a thin strip of non-skid tape solved that problem. I am very satisfied with these ... show more
