Great basic frame, room for storage

I bought this to sleep on the first floor after surgery. I needed a higher frame to get in and out of bed. This was perfect. We now use as a guest bed and the height allows for storage under it. Very sturdy and easy to put together.

Good value! Using for van storage

I bought this twin frame to fit into my compact cargo van. And voila! It does fit (I pre-measured carefully). I wanted to make the cargo area bi-level, so I could fit stuff underneath the frame, and also place planking on top and create a top shelf. This about doubles my van storage efficiency and capacity. I am thrilled with how well this is going to work. The frame is strong and sturdy. It wasn't that hard to assemble and the instructions were fairly clear. I do expect it to hold up well and I am not going to place exceptionally heavy items on top. Two points about the assembly: 1) While they provide a "wrench" in the kit, it would have been enormously frustrating to use it - very thin and no real grip. So I used my own wrench and all went well. 2) When I went to lay in the cross bars when everything else was assembled, some wouldn't just "drop" in - they required a hammer or mallet tap or two. Both of these are no big deal, but I place the info here to assist anyone who is going to assemble one of these. The value is excellent for what I needed - a platform for my van's cargo area. It is a game changer. Maybe one day I will just take off for the hills in the van and actually use it as a bed, making it a camper van. Perfect!

I bought the for my 6’ ft’ tall 24 y/o son. Easy to assemble. Sturdy and doesn’t shake. The frame I got was the 20” tall one, and there is so much room underneath to fit for storage. I did put a 5x7 area rug under it so not to scratch up the hard wood floors. He loves it!

Creaks a lot after a couple months

Frame was fantastic for about 2 months. No creaking. Then slowly over the course of two weeks it went from a minor creak to any shift, even the slightest causes very loud creaks. I'm a solid sleeper. Usually when i fall asleep i don't move so there. But I've had to tighten the screws two times already and yet they still get loose and the bed still creaks. Love the height

I love the height and sturdiness of the bed. It was easy to put together by myself and took less than an hour stopping to watch a movie. The frame does hang out a little as others have said but it’s not a tremendous amount. The other downside is that the headboard is not wide enough to fit the frame but considering my bed is up against the wall I’ll make it work. Frame was definitely a good buy. ... show more
