I bought it and tried twice. At last I returned it. Whether it is a good mower or not depends on what grass you have and how long they are. It can cut ryegrass very smoothly when they are not too long. But it cannot deal with a clustered fescue. And since it is in the T shape, it is a light level mower and not suitable to a medium to large lawn. Assembly is easy, but it seems to me that adjusting the mowing height is not very convenient. I bought this as a replacement for the Greenworks 5 Blade Reel Mower, which was very noisy and squeaky during operation. Wow, what a difference! This machine is lighter and almost whisper quiet. It seems to cut the notorious long grass pieces better, too (it still leaves some, though, like most reel mowers do). Its maneuverability far exceeds the Greenworks model, as well. For some reason, though, when I'm pushing it over the driveway to get to the yard, it squeaks. Loudly. I'm not sure why this happens, since the blades are not making any contact with the driveway. As soon as the mower is on the grass, however, it's quiet again. Perhaps it just wants some WD-40? Make quick work of your lawn mowing with this machine! ... show more

We have a company to cut our grass. But they are not perfect. So instead of complaining I purchased this mower hoping in would help tidy up areas they can’t reach with their equipment. This push mower is easy to push and does a good job! Height of handles does not adjust though, so taller people may have trouble (I'm 5’6”)! You will need to mow more often, because tall grass just gets bent over not mowed. And I tend to have to go over higher areas twice, but no smelly fumes or use of fossil fuels makes it worth it for me. It does not mow backwards and tree branches/sticks may stop it. But I found that pulling it backwards dislodges most sticks. I think blades will need to be sharpened once a season, maybe more. Much better mower than the Fiskars reel mower I have though, and at half the price! ... show more

This mower feels high quality in the sense that it’s sturdy and won’t break easily. My only complaint is that it’s harder than you’d expect to push it. I wish it were a little easier to push. Makes my arms tired.

If you need to cut grass on a yard that is smaller than, say, the Ponderosa Ranch from Bonanza, then this is your guy. Pros: it's lightweight to transport and push; it's easy to assemble (4 bolts and wingnuts, two clips, and two foam handles); it's sturdy and well-constructed; the blades have adjustable height; and, finally, it's incredibly effective and does a great job. Kudos to whoever wrote the assembly directions with pictures so simple even I could follow them. I appreciate that the instruction manual didn't assume I knew how to screw in a wingnut and featured examples of the right way and a wrong way. Cons: took one star off because the bag attachment is flimsy and unnecessary. ... show more
