Once the blind was installed and opened, in the center was a very visible dark spot….almost like the threads were a different color. I contacted the seller, who told me we “can’t control the sun that comes in.” I have no idea what that means, and told him the same. It was defective. We went back and forth numerous times, and nothing was done. Only when I said I was going to put up a bad review did he reply. Water under the bridge. JUST DO IT. Don’t sit and make excuses. Wouldn’t purchase from him again. EDIT: The seller contacted me. We went back and forth and he finally decided to send me another blind. We did receive it, my husband installed it and on this one there is no defective mark in the blind. We have only used it once so far and it’s been fine. Hoping the mechanism within doesn’t strip. That also happened with the first blind so it was definitely defective all the way around. Otherwise, we do like the blinds. They look attractive on our front porch. ... show more
