When purchased unit did not expect the Helix 9 gen4n to be smaller in diameter that my old helix 9 gen2. It would not fit in preexisting hole that was from the factory on dash. Ended up having to buy a dash mount from Bass Boat Technology. Other than that the unit is as expected and what I needed

I am dissatisfied that Amazon did not put that a cover was included in the description of what is included. In fact, a cover was “suggested” as an item most people bought in addition to the helix 9 mega si plus g4n. So I ordered a cover. Low and behold a cover came with the unit. I had to drive 60 miles away to a ups store and stand in line for a half an hour just to return this cover. Humminbird makes an excellent product. I have purchased over $8,000 worth of electronics and accessories from them . I contacted humminbird about this. They indicated Amazon has control over the advertising. For other buyers “ a cover comes with the helix 9”.
