Mounts very securely in plug socket. I wondered why it had two 110v outlets, the probable reason is that many round plugs will not fit under the adaptor so that only the 2 outlets on the adaptor may be used . I believe that it is only rated for 15A ( 1,800 watts) and thus not a good idea to use with high amperage applications like garbage disposal or toaster oven which may want the full 20A (2,400 watts of the normal circuit .
