  • Excellent product, worked great and easy to use.
I played my first round with the Club Booster V2 this week and I absolutely loved it. It performed perfectly and was very easy to use. My home course is hilly and the CBV2 handled every bit of the course without any issues at all. I used to dread the last hill up to the clubhouse after the 18th green when I was trudging up pushing my cart. This time it was just like a walk in the park and made everything so much more enjoyable. All the joy of and benefit of walking the full course without any of the fatigue from pushing a loaded trolley. I would highly recommend this product. ... show more

  • Makes walking an option again!
This unit is working with my old Caddytek Voyager. I am able to walk my local very hilly course again using this awesome setup. The brackets were easy to attach to my old cart and the wheelie bars have done a great job going uphill. Despite having two fixed front wheels, I have had no issues turning although it does do better on grass than the asphalt cart paths. I love the send it function, finishing a hole watching the cart make its way to the next tee box is a great feature. Getting a lot of envious looks and compliments on the course. I highly recommend this for all golfers who like to walk but especially for those who are like me and getting older but want to enjoy walking the course again. ... show more

  • An essential upgrade for walking golfers
We are an 80 YO couple who play golf three times weekly and still prefer to walk rather than ride. We finally reached the point where we found carrying our clubs was a physical burden. We started last summer (2021) with a pair of CaddyTek Light push carts with the fixed front wheel. These are really great carts which include a side mounted drink holder, deep basket, a compartment with a lid which securely holds a scorecard, and an umbrella holder. We play a mountain course during the summer and a desert course during the winter. It was the mountain course which induced us to purchase a pair of Alphard Club Booster V2 motors for the carts in August. We did not install the Wheelie Bars immediately but soon learned they are essential anywhere with an incline. The CaddyTek cart with Alphard Booster dramatically increased our golfing pleasure. We leave the complete cart with motor at our club and take the battery and remote home for recharge. We get two 18 hole rounds on the executive course from each charge. Two items worthy of note. The CaddyTek w Booster is a paint scraping fit through the 36" bag storage room doorway and removing the battery from under the Booster while attached to the cart is challenging. We took the combo to the desert for the winter on a regulation course with many long distances from green to the next tee. We generally got five 9 hole rounds from each charge. We decided to purchase a second pair of carts to use exclusively at our mountain home with the intention of simply moving the motors between carts. The Alphard Omni Cart seemed like the perfect answer since it comes with the Club Booster adapters already attached. Our review of the Alphard Omni Cart can be found on the product page (we prefer the CaddyTek cart). To summarize, the Alphard Club Booster paired with a CaddyTek cart are an ideal combination for enjoying a walking golf game on any course. Update April 2023: both of our Alphard Club Booster motors are still going strong (36+ holes) with the original batteries. We store complete carts at our clubs in the desert (Alphard Omni) and the mountains (CaddyTek) so we don't have to mess with breaking them down after each round. We take the motors back and forth each season. We find that our walking game is considerably brisker making for improved aerobics. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Amazing, but not without some flaws
I'm in my mid 30's and walk a lot and have wanted an electric push cart for a while now. Finally bit the bullet and got the Club Booster V2 as well as the Tether Follow Sensor (TFS - Sold Separately). $1000 later I must say overall this thing is bad ass. I've only played with it a few times but will share my feedback thus far: Pros: I bought this to hoping it would save my back from hurting from pushing the cart around my hilly course (about an 8 miles course). I will say I noticed a HUGE difference in my stamina and overall energy throughout the round was amazing. Normally I'd be getting fatigued by the end of the front 9 (and I'm in decent shape), but now with this thing I'm teeing off on 18 feeling like I could walk another 9. That in itself was huge for me because I can play better golf all around now and not start blowing up after hole 13 because I was getting tired. Another thing that is pretty sweet is with the tether I can hold a beer and scarf down a hotdog after I make the turn, all the while my bag just follows right behind me. Overall, for the price and the fact that it can retrofit the push cart you have, you can't go wrong with this thing. It goes up pretty steep hills but won't make it if there is mud obviously. Really love that I can leave the cart somewhere, go look for a ball or just go walk across the green to putt and I don't have to walk back to the cart, I can just have it drive to the next hole. Now to the Cons: Learn from my mistakes and do not take this thing out to the course day 1 without taking some time to play around and get comfortable with it. I made the mistake of just throwing it together in the parking lot and I hadn't realized the Tether system takes priority control over the remote, and when I first tried walking with it, the tether wasn't level and the thing took off and I couldn't control it and it basically almost crashed in the parking lot...total user error but this thing does have a mind of it's own sometimes. Once you get used to it it's easy though. I did have another problem once while it was going up a hill it couldn't make it so I had to push but then the wheels started spinning in opposite directions and then the entire thing stopped working. I literally had to let the rest of my group go on without me, and I had to take the cart off the club booster and basically take everything apart, took out the battery and put it back together (5 painful minutes later) and it started working again. Another Con I see is that with the tether it doesn't follow you as quickly and I'm a fast walker so I have had the magnetic tether disconnect because I was walking too fast. Also the tether follow sensor has seemed to malfunction a few times if making turns...so it seems you really just need to be extremely cautious and careful when walking with the tether. Overall, I think the $1000 was worth it as long as this thing will hold up over the years. ... show more
