I bought the V2 wheels for my Clicgear 3.0 push cart, mainly because it was much more affordable to convert my existing cart than purchasing a brand new motorized push cart. The product works great, battery has about 27 holes worth of power in it for a single charge, and recharges very quickly. Set up took me about 25 minutes to swap out the old wheels/brackets and replace with the new wheels. Setup at the golf course only takes me about 2 minutes longer than with the old manual wheels, but well worth it!

I have used the V2 on a Cliqgear 3.5+ since the start of the 2023 season. I also installed the two front wheel setup. All in all it’s been good on the course but there are a few design issues that make me crazy every time I use it. First, the setup is about an inch too wide the fit through a standard exterior door. I store mine at the golf course. Getting it through the door where bags are stored requires tilting the whole thing at an angle, which is a pain in the neck. If you’re not careful the whole thing tips over. It’s worse than it sounds. I’ve found it’s a lot easier if you take the bag off the cart but that shouldn't be necessary. Second, the battery is mounted below the axle, where you can’t see it. If you have to remove it to charge it, you can’t see the battery. Again, the easiest way to remove ghe battery is to tilt the whole thing at an angle. Also, since it’s below the axle any mud, grass, etc sticks to the battery, right where you want to put your hand to remove it. Third, it you install the dual front wheels the cart doesn’t fold, so getting it into a trunk is impossible unless you disassemble it. Fourth, unless you have a very bottom heavy bag, the cart is prone to tipping over backward, even with the clunky wheelie bars installed. The fix is lowering the wheelie bars so they run along the ground but they are really noisy if used that way. A friend has suggested filling the front end crossbar with BB’s, which would likely help make it less likely to tip.

Having installed and serviced medical x-ray equipment for 37 years I know when something is built well and this product is built extremely well. I have a Click Gear 3.5+ and all parts fit perfectly. The upgrade went very well. I also bought the front swivel bar for better steering and found it interesting that you use your original rear wheels up front. Played 9 holes yesterday and greatly enjoyed walking without having to push a cart. Looking forward to many rounds using this product.

Instructions are clear; easy to assemble, disassemble, and store. This could be a game changer, especially if you play hilly courses. Adjust the ant-tip wheels to the appropriate settings for your course or you might be picking up clubs, bag, cart on the side of a steep hill (don’t ask how I know). Left side of image is factory settings; right side is adjusted for my hilly course. Might pack a screwdriver first time you play. Also strongly consider buying the front swivel wheels if your cart has a fixed front wheel, like my Clicgear 3.5+. Unit seems well made and sturdy. There is a learning curve for guiding the movements. Be cautious until you get used to it. I almost ran over myself first day out. I gave this a 4 of 5 for value because most units are overpriced but it is about half the price of some others. May have to come back and reassess if it lives up to my expectations.

Box is missing the brackets required for the assembly to be completed. Reached out to the manufacturer and they concurred with our findings that the seller did not include the required brackets to convert the Clicgear 4.0.

This device has re-invigorated my desire to walk my rounds of golf. It is so nice that unless the course has long distances between holes, I will gladly walk with this motor rather than use a cart that the course provides. I do wish the battery had more charge (can only do 18-27 holes on a full charge; 36 holes would be nicer) and that the replacement batteries were cheaper. On top of that, I initially tried to order this through the company's website but the customer service was non-existent. Luckily I was able to order the product through Amazon and receive it quite quickly. Absolutely worth every penny.

I've been pushing a golf cart for years, every Sat and Sunday morning. 6 to 7 miles of walking is great exercise. However, I noticed that when I go on travel, and occassionally enjoy a round with a caddie, I like the freedom of swinging both arms while walking. It is certainly a more natural stride. For this reason, I decided to convert my ClicGear 3.5+ into a motorized cart, and so I purchased the Alphard Club Booster V2 E-Wheels, as well as the Alphard golf swivel kit because the ClicGear 3.5+ doesn't have a front wheel that swivels. I further upgraded the straps on the ClicGear 3.5+ to the silicon straps to make sure my bag is well secured to the cart and doesn't slip off the cart when jostled. Bottom Line: this was money well spend and I enjoy all aspects of this purchase. One thing to note is that when you add the swivel wheels, the cart no longer folds up as small as it originally did. It's footprint is maybe 25% bigger than before. Also, if you get a relatively large duffel bag, it will keep your car somewhat clean by capturing all of the grass clippings that remain on the wheels after a round. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.
