We purchased a used 2015 Yamaha G29 with a 6" lift and a rear seat. We have 2 handicapped teenage boys and use our cart to drive around the neighborhood so they can get out of the house. After a year of using it as it was, we decided it was best for our family to have a limo cart, or a 6 seater, but couldn't find one we could afford. Upon researching options, I stumbled across this Madjax stretch kit and we decided this was our best bet. The materials used in the kit are high quality, with no noticeable blemishes, nicks, scratches, etc. upon delivery. The instructions are good, but I would highly recommend watching a couple of videos on YouTube if you don't have experience with a project of this type. I know in my case, our cart had a few differences from the instructions and I had to make some minor modifications for everything to fit properly. Just take your time. Definitely keep in mind that you'll need to purchase at least one new seat, or have a donor seat available. We decided to purchase 2 sets so the seats would match. And even though you'll be using the hardware from the original seat, remember to also purchase a set of arm rails and seat hinges for the new seat! I would also recommend that you look into a new top, because even though our golf cart had a long top, it was WAY too short to fit after the extension. We ended up getting a 120" top. Another extremely important thing about this extension kit is the brakes! On our cart, I ended up having to purchase some M8-1.25 all thread rods and connectors, so I could extend and connect the brakes to the existing cables. There was language regarding the brakes in the description when we purchased ours, but I don't see it there now and hopefully this will help someone else. I give the kit 5 stars, but there were a couple of things that could've been better. One was the brakes as mentioned above. I know for other brands, they include the hardware I used above as part of the kit. Not sure why they don't with their Yamaha kit. Another issue was with the light kit extensions. I was only able to use 1 of the 4 extensions provided as they were, and ended up having to make 2 of my own harnesses because the ends of the harnesses provided weren't the same as I had on our cart. On one of the ends that SEEMED correct, the pins on the male harness provided were installed opposite of the pins on the female harness, so no connection was made and I ended up having to again create my own harness. The wire provided was of adequate length though, so I was able to use much of that wire and conduit to hook everything back up. Not a huge deal, but certainly increased the project time. I also decided to NOT use the rivets provided for multiple reasons. The most important reason for me is because I work on my own cart, and if the rivets are used, good luck being able to take things apart and fix them, because this kit more or less closes off most of your access points if you use the rivets. That includes the brake assembly hatch! I ended up using self-tapping screws instead, and if they eventually start to come loose, I'll replace them with nuts and bolts. I would imagine the cost savings was a factor in providing rivets in the kit, or maybe just to keep someone from messing with the install if they have a shop do it. Overall, the kit worked out well and everything needed to complete the extension was included in the kit. Our cart rides amazingly well! There are some creaks and groans, but we haven't noticed any sagging or bending, something I had seen reviews from kits of other brands mention.
