I bought one of these batteries for my 2009 EZGO 36 V golf cart. This one battery was able to take the place of 66 V lead acid batteries that are aggravating to continuously. Add water and charge this lithium battery weighs 65 pounds compared to 387 pounds of lead acid batteries. I removed my old lead acid batteries from my golf cart and took them to a recycle center that purchased them for $.18 a pound and was able to receive just a bit over $65 and recycle fees. This one battery fit in the place that three lead acid batteries use to be installed. I did have to take a grinder and cut a couple pieces off of the angle iron where my old lead acid batteries used to be installed, but that process took me less than 10 minutes. I cleaned up the angle iron area on my EZGO golf cart painted it with some rust oleum spray paint and added some sticky back, felt tape on the angle learn where the new lithium battery would be installed to prevent the battery from moving and wearing the plastic housing from rubbing against the metal angle iron. I took the long metal rods that were used to cinch down my old lead acid batteries, and cut them shorter with my side grinder and was able to use them to cinch down the new lithium battery to keep it from vibrating or moving I did use the battery meter that was included with the shunt with this purchase. The directions for setting up the battery gauge is not very good, but the battery itself is holding up very well. I have already recommended this battery to a few friends that have either purchased it already or is going to purchase one when their current batteries degrade I purchased this 36 V 100hundred amp hour battery for $671. The capacity so far is holding up well I would say I’m averaging 12 to 15 miles with this Batteries charge my EZGO golf cart is lifted with larger tires which causes the mileage to be less than a traditional style golf cart. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this battery and I do not regret purchasing this battery at this time. One battery is holding up well for what I use my golf cart for. If I were in need of having more capacity, I could fit a second battery under the seat and place of the front three batteries since I put my battery in the battery section for the rear three batteries on my golf cart two of these batteries 36 V 100 amp our batteries will fit under the seat of my EZGO golf cart. I have charged these batteries now six times and we have been using them for approximately two months with no issues. Great battery at a great price. The battery charger is good quality. I did mount it under the seat in a dry area cause I keep my golf cart in a controlled environment and not in the rain or elements. These batteries also have an app that you can download and see the battery level voltage and the percentage of battery life left. I can sit inside of my home and check the battery level of my golf cart. That is in a building outside in my backyard I like this feature because my kids drive the golf cart sometimes and I like to check the battery level.

This is a drop in replacement for the 6-lead acid batteries. Install was fairly simple. No fitment adjustments were needed for my cart. This battery really gave my EZGO TXT the boost I was looking and hoping for. Installation tip: Save one of the removed battery terminal cables to use on the negative battery post to the provided shunt. I mounted my shunt directly on top of the battery with double-back tape. Placing the shunt near the negative terminal allowed the use of one of the removed 8-inch long battery cables. The positive cables on the cart side reached just fine. I also removed the battery charger handle and mounted the charger on top of the battery with heavy duty double sided tape. I stacked multiple layers to ensure proper thickness providing positive adhesion to the plastic battery case. So far so good. I also removed the old charge receptacle and installed the provided voltage and amp controller in its place with a little trimming with the Dremel.

Highly recommend this battery and supplier. Chins customer service is one of the best I have encountered in over 50 years! The battery is amazing. It took about 2 hours to install battery, charger, step-down transformer and charger pass thru plug. The reduced weight and power of the battery really gives our golf cart more zip. There is ample space for the battery with minor alterations to the old frame. I expect this battery will perform as advertised and give many years of service. No more 4-5 year replacements. I started saying Chins has excellent customer service. When I ordered the battery was $929 (I assume they anticapated tariffs). While in deliver the price dropped to $699. I emailed Chins and within 2 hours (largely due to the time difference) they offered to lower the price I paid and credited my account within two days. There should be more businesses like this.

As soon as I received the battery, I followed the instructions and downloaded the BAT-BMS app for my phone. The app initially connected perfectly fine with the battery through Bluetooth. It stated I had 57% charge. I connected the charger to the battery and proceeded to charge the battery. At about the 70% mark, (about a hour later)the Bluetooth of the BMS turned off and completely disconnected. The battery was still charging, but I did not see any details anymore. I used the battery monitor to continue monitoring the charge and, while the battery works fine otherwise, I have yet to be able to connect through Bluetooth to monitor the individual cells as before. I have tried to contact the manufacturer to no avail. If the situation is not resolved to my satisfaction, I have no choice but to return the battery, complete my full, YouTube review, and go with another brand. I scoured Jin‘s battery site as well as YouTube, but found no solution. Customer service was extremely lacking as no one has gotten back to me in a reasonable amount of time. I had high hopes for this battery. Update: battery will not charge and it’s dead and bms can’t be restarted. I am currently in conversation with Chins customer service for my options to avoid giving up on them and returning through Amazon. The battery has since completely died (reads 1.5v) and I understand this sometimes happens. I will update this information as soon as I receive the replacement. I’ve heard good things about Chins and intend to buy a few 48v batteries for a solar system assuming I just had a bad battery. These things happen I suppose. Stay tuned. I’ll upload a full review video at the end.
