Installed in a 36v EZ-GO Medalist golf cart. Fit in front battery tray with Minimal trimming of the old 6v battery hold down bracket. Have taken a 10 mile trip multiple times, the battery only discharged approx 30% each time on that route. We never run down below 20% in order to help extend life of battery, but the 10 mile route @ 30% does support the 30 mile range claim. The older Shunt style battery meter is useless on this Lithium battery, it doesn’t suite a Lifepo battery charge/discharge profile and is inaccurate. If the wired Colored BMS display version is available, I would suggest it over the shunt version. This version does have the Bluetooth connection. This Bluetooth view of Battery state is far more accurate. Be sure to use proper BMS-BAT application on phone. The other won’t properly connect. So far very happy with performance and the price. Will definitely recommend for those that want to do the LiFePo battery upgrade on a golf cart. Contacted support via OHRPHY’s website, both times they responded within 24 hours and very informative. There was no issue with the battery, only questions about “Propper” use and state of charge Monitoring.

Installed a couple of weeks ago. Wanted to get a few rounds in before I came here. Installation was quick and easy. Minimal modification. Probably Have 6-8 hours of run time so far and battery is around 80%. I don't know about any big brand lithium batteries but this one has done everything I could have asked for. More power and torque going uphill or through soggy terrain. Also the app is nice feature. It's blue tooth so only works when you're with the cart but you can see all aspects of performance. Would highly recommend this battery if you're needing to upgrade

After replacing those heavy 6V batteries in my EZ GO TXT golf cart a few times, I stumbled across this battery and I love it! With a few modifications, it went in perfectly and I got rid of over 300 pounds of deadweight! The cart is so fast and nimble, now. I had a few questions, and although there is no Customer Service phone number, when you email a question and they usually get back to you, quite quickly! I would highly recommend this battery and charge to anyone!

Battery monitor states on it, "not intended for outdoor use". We live in Tucson, display died as soon as soon as summer hit (95 + f.). Battery and charger work fine. Been using over a month. Relinstalled the original monitor. Didn't need all the extra stuff on monitor supplied, just need to know when to recharge. Charge does last longer, with more power. Lost over 200 lbs in battery weight. Install in older EZ GO, only needed to trim one of the old battery hold downs in order to fit. User needs to supply a hold down of some sort. Buy the newer model for a few bucks more.

I have a 2008 EZGO Txt pds. Bought it used as a bit of a fixer upper. So I went with the cheapest option. For the money this battery is super nice. I plan on updating review a year from now but so far it’s great. My cart is lifted with 20” tires. It will solidly do 21mph now. I have the freedom plug installed and with the 2 yr old lead acid batteries it did 18-20. So I picked up 1mph+. Before it struggled to hit 20 but now it has no problem going 21. I’ve only done a couple cycles now but was only taking it down to low 50% and went 15 miles. I will be doing full range testing but no doubt would go 25 miles. Hoping for 30. For a “family” cart this is a great choice. Of coarse being a guy I keep thinking through how to make it faster but I just need to be happy with what it is lol. What’s nice about this is now I don’t have to worry about the kids and wife as this cart is now essentially “plug and play”. Lead acid batteries really require users to be more knowledgeable about charging habits and maintenance. The thing about doing this is it works great with existing controller and electronics and will make your cart super easy to operate. Just a side note but don’t forget you’ll need a dc step down converter to power your 12v items. My final thoughts. If you’re looking for performance then you should probably go down the 48v rabbit hole but if you want a good battery that wires up nicely to your existing 36v cart then this is a great choice. Just buy it.

I purchased this kit for our 2005 EZGO TXT 36v cart. The installation was simple, and the results are outstanding. Pros: Range is now 47 miles… as tested on a flat 1/4 mile walking track after installation from a full 100% charge until it quit. Recharge time from about 20% to full is under 2hrs. Top speed is now 17mph, due to losing almost 300lbs weight. Old top speed was around 13mph Has built in BT and an app, so you can monitor the battery without using the included battery monitor. Fits in the stock battery tray with minor trimming of the brackets for the old hold downs. I used a grinding stone in my old Dremel tool to cut it off. New lead acid Trojan batteries would have been about $1,300 We got this kit on a flash sale for $629 Cons: The wire included for the battery monitor is too short to mount it on the dash. I used some Cat-5 network cable to extend the wires about 5’ . I used one twisted pair for each of the four wires… so far it’s working fine. If you mount the new charger onboard, and install a new NICO charge port adapter. Be sure to cut the red wire off the old charge port and wire it directly to the positive post. The cart won’t move unless you do. Also, YouTube has some excellent videos on it too.

I bought this 36V replacement battery for my almost dead six 6V lead acid batteries for my golf cart. The reviews that I read indicated this was a better option for a number of reasons, which included a much lower cost, lower weight, more range and you don't have to worry about dealing with acid and making sure the batteries are topped off with distilled water. It's a good thing that I decided to eliminate the lead acid batteries as when they were removed the supporting steel was all corroded just waiting for the next bump in the road to cause them to drop through the bottom and damage the cart. Because of the corrosion I used a couple of two by fours to create a new base for the Ogrphy battery, wired it up and strapped it down to the two by fours for a nice secure installation. I accidentally broke off one of the wire connectors, so I sent a note to the company. Within a few days a new part arrived. I was very impressed with their customer service as they kept me well informed about delivery and willingness to help if I had any questions. Overall, I am extremely happy with the purchase and with the smart phone app I am able to communicate with the battery, so you have a very accurate fuel (electric) gauge using the battery's Bluetooth connectivity.
