I love all my All Clads I've used for a very long time and am glad I added this one to the kitchen! Oh, and for those whining that it was made in China...seriously? I cook daily and have done so for 40+ years and I own a LOT of cookware - All Clad copper core and aluminum non-stick pans, All Clad D3 & D5, Hestan nano and pro bond, Falk, CIA and Mauviel brushed copper. They each have their own specific uses in my kitchen. I wanted a larger steamer/pasta cooker with a pot for general use and saw this set on sale. When it arrived, I was surprised by the weight, build quality and kitchen performance. This is NOT high end All Clad and it's certainly not Hestan or Falk but it sure performs well for steaming seafood, momos, ribs and a wide variety of veggies - it works great. Proof to me that you do NOT have to spend a lot of cash for really decent cookware! ... show more

This SS Multiccooker arrived today. We freeze a great deal of produce. Our aluminum "blancher" has seen better days! It was time to retire, Betsy! Gertrude arrived on the door stoop this early afternoon, just in time to be washed and put to work blanching a picking of Roma beans!! We began to unpack it and were amazed at how beefy it was. It is very well constructed! The pot doesn't lose the heat making it more efficient as you boil water blanch a batch, remove the produce and start the process over with the next batch! WE LOVE IT!! Overall this is a great pot and lives up to All-Clad's high quality. I have a number of All-Clad products (too many if you ask my wife) and many of them, while over 20 years old, look no more than 20 days old (and not for lack of use!) My two complains are that this pot seems just a bit thinner than other, older All-Clad products I have (Maybe they changed the manufacturing process) but more importantly, the strainer could go much closer to the bottom of the pot. I purchased this primarily for pasta and thought the strainer would make things easier, but you have to add a few inches of water to the pot before it even hits the strainer, so while I could make pasta with 1/3 pot of water without the insert, you have to fill it 2/3 to 3/4 of the way with the strainer, adding a decent amount of time to heat the water. You can't go wrong with this pot though and the main reason I gave it four stars is so people would read this review! ;-) I would not hesitate to recommend or purchase again. ... show more

I am so pleased & impressed with All-Clad! After 30 years of cooking with cheap no name brands and routinely replacing them, I decided to splurge on those really expensive All-Clad. I started with one used braiser and was in love!!!!! I decided to replace the pots and pans that I used most often with All-Clad. At the price point it may take about a year or two but it’s worth it!!! This pot is 3 in one. Best way ever to make pasta or some amazing soups and sauces in the stock pot. I am one happy home chef!!!!!! And the pots look so good I routinely leave one or two on my kitchen stove. This set is beautiful, sturdy, and versatile. You won’t be disappointed! ... show more
