This is my first time trying a mushroom chocolate and I was definitely skeptical/a little scared of the effects. But I figured if it was this accessible via Amazon that it shouldn't have any major risks so I took a chance on a day I didn't have too much to do. WOW I was pleasantly surprised by the luxurious package the moment I opened it - really modern and sleek. I took the recommended one square dosage and there were no funky flavors I could identify at all - tasted like a totally normal high quality chocolate. I'm pretty sensitive to caffeine so I was even more wary of the effects it would have on me. I definitely felt a gradual spike of energy but it felt really smooth and not immediately jumpy like coffee makes me feel. I really did feel more focused on the tasks I had on hand and a mental clarity. I can tend to get anxious quickly and did not feel that at all. Even as it wore off I experienced no negative effects - I can definitely see myself incorporating this into my daily routine and am interested to see the effects on a more action-packed day when I have a lot to get done and excited to see how it helps!

I ordered these because I got a deal where they were free. I was interested to see how they worked because I hadn't ever tried a "brain booster" before and I liked that this is natural. I tried one in the evening around 6pm because the reviews said it lasted for about 3-4 hours. The effects lasted much longer than that for me. It made me very energized so even by 1am I had a hard time sleeping. I plan to try this again during an earlier time of day to see what affect it has on my sleep. It also took longer than other reviewers for me to feel the effects, so I think I improperly timed it. It overall made me feel more motivated to do things, so that's a win! On the taste side, the dark chocolate was much better than I was expecting. It tasted like high quality chocolate that did a good job masking most of the mushroom flavor.
