  • Read the instructions carefully!
Make sure you read and fully understand the instructions before you use this hot tub. It's going to work and you will very likely enjoy it. I wasted a lot of charcoal which isn't cheap, because I was not using the stove correctly. The seller warns you that the tub is going to leak until the wood swells. This is true. Make sure the bands are tight and then use the included calk to seal the bottom of the tub (where the walls meet the floor). The wood paddle for mixing the water is not included so if you don't have one order it. Be careful, the water gets very hot. I bought a couple of rolls of the reflective insulation used on water heaters. This in conjunction with the insulated cover help it retain heat. I also purchased a pool skimmer, an inexpensive pool vacuum, and an imersible 1500 watt water heater. Charcoal is expensive so I use it to bring the cold water to the desired temperature and the heater to bring the temp back up the next day. Be careful. I don't know if my hacks are approved by the seller and fire, electricity, and water don't mix. I decided to buy this tub because the reviews of the inflatable tubs are so bad and even though it costs twice as much or more, it is still cheaper than even the least expensive hard side hot tub. I hope this helps. P.s. make sure you clean out the ashes, especially if they get wet, or you won't get the proper Air circulation in the stove. ... show more

  • Don’t be scared
Very lightweight, fantastic solution to a non permanent 2 person outdoor hot tub. It came assembled in a box. I was able to position it myself and a dolly. It holds water without much adjustment. It doesn’t seem to leak, but adjustments are expected. Fits two comfortably. I give it 5-7 years of regular use given the thickness of metal and grade of construction materials. Maybe longer. I was relieved when I got it. Decent product. ... show more

  • Not worth it
Use more charcoal than what it's worth!

  • Zero customer service available
The media could not be loaded. Bought our tub directly from Aleko. Took about 4 weeks to arrive. Tub arrived in good condition, although both of the tension bands had fallen off and needed to be re-attached. No instructions detailing the adjustment of these tension bands. So I reinstalled the bands and snugged them incrementally. Instructions do say that you might need to leave a water hose on low for a few days to compensate for leaks, while the tub was filling. We started filling ours with water hose in high. Leaks were so bad that it took 2 hours to fill halfway. We finally gave up at that point. The bands are now tight and the tub is still pouring water out. The instructions say that if the leaks do not slow down, may need to apply silicone, but to contact customer service first. So I emailed them. I received a reply that said that their email system will not accept emails from Outlook. So I called them. After 5 minutes on hold, a message played saying that I already called them( this was my first call to them) and that they already have my information and will call me when they get time. Please don’t call back, as it just prolongs service time. So in the end, this company does not have a way to access them for and kind of help with their hot tub. Huge disappointment, feel like I was scammed by a “ghost company” The tub seems fairly well made, if you can get the leaks under control. ... show more
