    • Great little clock
This is a small clock, a little bigger than a deck of cards, but it has all the features I need. Despite the small size, the numbers are large so they are visible from across the room. I like that the alarm volume and the brightness are both adjustable to multiple levels. It can be loud or quiet, bright or dim. Today is the beginning of daylight savings, so I was able to try that feature. You don't have to change the time, but you do have to hold down the DST button so it adjusts by an hour, because it doesn't have a calendar programmed into it. It's very easy to turn the DST feature on or off by holding down the button. It's also very easy to set the time and day of the week for the clock and the alarm. I like that it has a - button in addition to the + button. You can choose between a 12 or 24 hour clock. There is a large multifunctional button on the top for snooze. I haven't tried the USB power output on the side, because I don't have a USB A cord or device that would use that kind of cord, but it could be handy for slow charging while traveling when there are limited outlets to plug things into. I don't remember installing a backup battery in this clock, but it has one. I'm assuming it's a rechargeable battery that draws power off the USB. It keeps the time when the clock is unplugged. I only unplugged it for a few minutes to test it, and when I plugged it back in the time was set and it was correct, so it's definitely there. There are two programmable alarms, each with a few preset options for weekends, weekdays, or the whole week. My husband's alarm is set up on his phone because his schedule changes every week, repeating every 3 weeks, and it announces what day it is and what time he's scheduled to work when it goes off, with customizable music and snooze settings. This little clock can't do anything fancy like that. It just beeps when the alarm goes off and shows the time, but it does those things very well. Sometimes simpler is better. ... show more

This is an ideal size alarm clock but the led read out of time is poor I change batteries thinking mabey the batteries were weak but that wasn't the case. It just isn't bright enough. It takes D size batteries. If you're like me and don't sleep with your glasses on you're going to have a hard time reading the time ... show more

    • Clock used with dimmest light to see time in middle of night
This little clock fit our very very specific need. We needed a clock that was very easy to read, yet with low light, so that when my husband wakes up in the middle of the night - he can easily see the time without raising his head or reaching for his phone. We found a discreet place to place this clock on the side of a dresser. The number are BIG - you certainly do not need glasses of any sort to read. And it has 3 light levels and lowest one is still very viewable in the dark without adding light that will disturb sleep. I'm sure the other features are useful (like alarm) - but we don't use it for that purpose.... ... show more

    • Does the job
When you need just a simple alarm clock rather than use a phone or radio, this will do the job. Setting the time and alarms is pretty self-explanatory if you have done it before. The alarm beep is definitely going to wake most people (even deep sleepers). What I liked less... The power connector sticks out the side which I am not a fan of but it may work great for you. That is where they put it because... There is a cutout in the back to wall mount the clock. I can see that being less than successful since it's a single cutout in the middle. The clock is going to rotate around that nail/hook, with the power cord maybe helping maybe making it worse. The clock also uses a CR2032 battery as a backup for when you lose power. The display will be dark, but it is keeping time - even over a 2 week period! The downside is that you will need a Philips #0 screwdriver to replace the battery, and be careful to note the orientation of the battery since I did not see any +/- markings for the battery, and don't lose the tiny screws. ... show more

    • A good alarm clock with a couple of minor drawbacks
First, the good: This is a good compact size, yet it has fairly large digits, making it easy to read. The brightness of the display is highly adjustable. It has dual alarms, which can be handy when your schedule changes depending on the day of the week. So far it has kept accurate time. It's easy to set and it's functions are self-explanatory. The less than good: The USB-C power cable comes out the side instead of the back. That's not a problem if you are going to mount it on a wall, but it tends to be awkward and clumsy if you set it on your nightstand (like I do). You can only hit snooze a few times before the alarm disables itself. I tend to hit snooze 5 or 6 times sometimes, and that leaves me in danger of the alarm disabling and making me oversleep. Granted, I should get up right when the alarm goes off, but that doesn't always happen. I've gotten around this by setting up the secondary alarm for a slightly later time. If it weren't for the snooze issue and the power cord location, I would have given it 5 stars. It's a good alarm clock, just not perfect. ... show more

This is a great digital clock that is so simple to use. I like that you can set two alarms if you need too and the alarm definitely works great, it’s loud and wakes me right up. I also appreciate the dimming option, you can make the screen brighter or dimmer. The numbers are large enough to see from across the room.
