  • Good Quality and resolution!!! It is very easy to manage and my daughter loves it! Good Quality and resolution!!! It is very easy to manage and my daughter loves it!
I am VERY impressed with this mini projector! This was a birthday gift for my 12yr old daughter and she uses it to watch movies in her room all the time! Installing it was a bit confusing but we figured it out. The actual installed apps on the projector (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc,.) work very well but we have not been able to download Disney+ to the projector and we can't project it through the Casting app either. The resolution is great, even when there is some lighting. We stretched the image to about 15' diagonal and it was awesome!!! The image did not get distorted. We have been able to connect JBL speakers (through Aux and Bluetooth) for better sound and also connect to the laptop (to play movies we currently have on DVD or Blu-ray). We have to use the laptop because the projector does not pick up the sound from the DVR, which is weird because it does from the laptop with no problem. I looked into it and this seems to be an issue with DVRs and mini projectors. I checked settings but just couldn't get it to work. I am going to try it on my surround system next to see if it works. Maybe its the settings on that specific DVR. Not sure.. My daughter also uses to project images and then paint over them. For example, my son wanted a Lakers Logo in his room. She did that for him. I needed to cut giant letters for a sign, she projected them, traced them and I just cut them. This was very helpful. She really uses it alot. I do recommend it for whoever is planning on getting one 😁. The remote control works well but its a little slow. Its easier and faster to move the settings manually. ... show more

  • Small, bright and versatile

This is a follow up to my original one star. After some time, the company contacted me and offered to replace the device and two days later, I have a new one! I will be sure not to leave it plugged in when not in use. I use it for art projects mostly and it is the perfect projection device for canvases of all sizes! Even as small as 3x5”. I had not been able to find another one like it. I am delighted! Original review: This was a great projector, small, bright and versatile. However, one day the battery inside expanded, split the case open and made it unusable. Too much money for such a short lived (and dangerous?) device. If you have one, make sure you don’t leave it plugged in unattended. ... show more

  • Image quality good sound is a 👎
I don’t like that when connecting to phone it will turn off when your phone turns off other then that it’s good quality. I use it for cookie decorating and images are usually pretty clear. If wanting to watch movies though the sound is not good very static

  • Sharp, bright, easy to use.
This projector is bright and clear and relatively easy to use. You can't use the remote for all of the functions, sometimes you have to use the touch pad on the projector itself. Overall it is pretty intuitive. The tripod it comes with is complete junk and pointless. I recommend getting a different portable tripod. It would be nice if it came with a soft pouch or some sort of case to make it easier to just toss in my laptop bag. I found a soft pouch from something else I'd gotten and repurposed it. The projector has a dedicated power brick for charging. It doesn't use usb charging as near as I can tell. It works great when you have it plugged in, so you can use it for longer stretches of time than the battery would normally last. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that it comes with a (weak) built-in little speaker, so you don't have to connect it with bluetooth to get sound out of it. While the speaker quality isn't that great, it is handy. ... show more

  • BUY THIS AMAZING PROJECTOR!
I have been a professional artist since 1981. (That's a long time). I have used a wide variety of different styles and brands of projectors over the years including Artograph. I am a Journeyman sign artist, formerly specializing in highway billboards 14'x48'. I normally paint large canvas. Lately I have been entering wildlife art contests where the format size is 7" x 10". Using any of these other projectors is extremely frustrating to attempt to get the clarity/focus down to that size. Projectors are made to enlarge. THIS IS AMAZING. Pros: I love the option of HDMI or USB. The picture couldn't be clearer. Highly portable. Comes with a mini tripod! BONUS!!! The unboxing was a lot of fun. If you work on a small scale BUY THIS PROJECTOR!! Cons: That remote needs a lot of tweaking. Make the focus digital by remote. This is a very well designed, well thought out projector from the packaging right down to the nuts and bolts of it. Absolutely worth every penny. I am so happy today. ... show more

  • A high quality well design gadget, one of my favorite portable device at home and on the road. A high quality well design gadget, one of my favorite portable device at home and on the road.
I bought this device for more than a year. I definitely considered this to be one of my best buy for electronic devices at home... and yes I am quite a gadget junky! This projector replace my TV in my bedroom at night as I could project to the ceiling while lying down in my bed. I also take it with me on travel as the size and weight is only slightly bigger than a cell phone. Here are the pros: 1) Very good resolution 2) Reliable 3) Portable - small and light 4) Decent battery life, don't need to keep it connected to power for at least a movie 5) Allows to download more apps based on your preference - netflix, amazon movie, youtube, facebook etc. 6) Even with this small device, it has many different ports especially HDMI and USB 7) Support bluetooth between multiple devices, works well with my iPhone and iPad. Cons: 1) I find the remote not user friendly, so I bluetooth with a mouse and it works perfect. 2) The user interface is simple and can be improved For the RVers... this is perfect! ... show more

  • Definitely some issues, definitely still a powerful device Definitely some issues, definitely still a powerful device
I'm writing this review not knowing exactly what I'm going to rate it, but as I talk through it I think I'll come to a conclusion about the overall rating. First, this is a powerful little projector with impressive brightness and contrast for its size. I'm comparing this to a much larger projector with much fewer features, but it's what I hoped to replace, and a lot of the uses are the same. I was using a~100$ projector that you can get from various no name brands with high brightness and 1080p resolution. They all use LCD instead of DLP since the technology is much cheaper, but it's improved a lot, so it's quite good. I'll start with the technical issues with this projector, and then some of the nuanced limitations compared to my current system. First, while it's 1080p resolution it does seem to be lower in resolution than the LCD. This might be because you can see the individual pixels using DLP, and they pop out and look pixelated, but even though my other projector is projecting a larger image, the image is both brighter and seams sharper, although less vibrant. Second, I love the automatic keystone correction, but as others have pointed out this doesn't apply to HDMI inputs. Since the Android operating system is so old, many apps simply don't work and the only work around is to use a Chromecast as an input. This might have been good enough for me if it had the keystone correction but there were some other issues with the interface/interaction. First, the remote is pretty terrible, not just in having to aim at the projector, but having to push the buttons really hard in multiple times to get it to register even when aiming it directly at it. The touch interface is nice, but I would honestly rather Lenovo style nubbin. Something very superficial for me is that I wanted it to be able to just turn on with a remote control (or programmed ir-blaster) so that it would work with my current home automation routines. However, it won't open the HDMI input by default whenever it's powered on meaning I would have to pick up a remote, lazy I know... Overall, very capable and if I didn't need it for my current setup and I didn't have a projector I would definitely keep it, but since all the features I need are slightly worse than the cheaper one I already have, I'm going to return it. If it had even been on par with my old one plus portability, I was going to give my old one away to a family member and keep this one, but it seems like that's just not possible, so this seems like about a three-star rating. A quick final edit of my closing thoughts - I understand why they went with Android, thinking it would be convenient and familiar, however, this really limits the functionality. I would have really rather had a built-in chromecast, even a cheap one must have been the same cost as what they used. In the end I think three stars is accurate, and I wish I had rated 1-2 to bring down the average, but have decided not to do so. ... show more

  • 1 out of 5 stars – So much potential
 completely ruined by the interface
1 out of 5 stars – So much potential
completely ruined by the interface Let’s start with the good: Manual keystone — one of the best I’ve ever used. Super precise and easy to adjust. Auto keystone, on the other hand
it’s hit or miss (more like 50/50). It only works properly at certain distances, so you’re constantly searching for that sweet spot. Projection quality — decent for the size, and it looks good in a dark room, which is about what you’d expect at this price point. Now for the bad — and it’s a long list. The interface is painfully slow. If you’re buying this for its “smart” features, don’t. The processor inside can barely keep up, and it doesn’t support key apps like Spectrum TV. After spending 20 minutes downloading and another 20 signing in, the app crashed with a nasty error message. The system froze multiple times, and navigating with the remote is awful. The buttons feel cheap, and using the touch controls on the projector itself is useless since it moves the device around while it’s on a tripod. Speaking of the tripod — it’s terrible. If it’s not set up in one very specific way, the entire thing tips over. For $300, you should expect better. I even tried to make it work by plugging in a Roku stick to bypass the clunky interface — but once you do that, manual keystone stops working, forcing you to rely on the auto keystone (which, again, isn’t good). And to top it all off, it doesn’t even have USB-C charging. You can’t use a portable charger — it only charges with the factory adapter. The built-in battery lasts about 1.5 hours, which makes it useless for travel or portable entertainment unless you’re near a wall outlet. After all that tinkering and frustration, I finally gave up, packed it up, and sent it back. The only positive thing I can say is the compact size — but if you’re going to have it plugged in anyway, you’re better off buying a more capable projector. If you just need something for office presentations while traveling, sure — it’ll do the job. But for entertainment? Run away and don’t look back. ... show more
