It's a thin and flimsy pole that easily falls down, so you get what you pay for. If you use this in a heavy traffic area like your shower curtain, I can easily imagine this falling down much more frequently. I use it for my bedroom curtains and I have to be careful to more my curtains lightly and not put too much pressure on the rod. I had a 3 new basement windows installed. Oddly enough one window didn't use a tension rod for the curtains (use hooks on wall). And after the new window install, there was the need to install 2 tension rods since the hooks were taken out and couldn't be put back in the window. These were a good price and they are fine, but they don’t hold up the tee shirts I hang on them. I finally put two of them up parallel to each other and they fall down less, but they do still fall. I’ll try another brand at some point but for now they kind of work.

Really easy to install and hang up. My curtains are light and I have noticed a slight bend in the center of the rod. If you have more heavy-weight curtains, you may need to look for something more sturdy. Works great thought for what I had - if you have small lightweight curtains.
