It's so cute and perfect for sitting outside with a gentle cup of tea. I use an insolated thermus for the hot water so I can refill as needed.

This might be my favorite personal purchase in a while. First, it looks nice and elegant. The design is impeccable. It's simple yet attractive. As far as use, the pot pours nicely and filters the tea beautifully. I love the feel of it in my hand. The cup is nice to drink from. The slightly rougher texture around the rim makes for a lovely tactile feel as you drink. Overall, a wonderful set. The one thing I'd like to see is a couple rubber rings to pad the pieces for a more sure/safe travel closure. Other than that, I have no complaints and would recommend this to anyone looking for a personal tea set.

The media could not be loaded. This is beautiful and compact travel tea set. Often, when I order goods online, I am prepared to be slightly disappointed in the quality. However, I was pleasantly surprised to receive this tea set. It is perfect for a shirinyoku tea ceremony with my son. It is a lovely little item, and I am excited to give this as a gift. Pros: Cleverly designed, compact, and a perfect size to stick in my purse or travel bag. I love that it has two cups, and the design is very attractive. Cons: The zipper is a bit stiff, but perhaps it needs to be broken in. The smallest cup rattles inside the teapot when stored, but can be easily secured with a small towel. Overall: I would definitely recommend this set as a great value, and look forward to using it. I have not been compensated in any way for this review, I am simply delighted with my new tea set!

I’ve owned several tea sets and this is a nice travel set. Unboxing it, the seller used decorative oriental paper for padding. The hard-sided case is a little bigger than a softball and inside the set is held together with a unique, figure-eight rubber band. There is more padding to protect the lid and cup plus the cloth to prevent the lid from clattering inside the pot and cup when closed. The glazing is glossy with a touch of rustic around the rims. All-in-all, a nice set and easy to clean out, unlike those with metal infusers. And the lid is a nice touch to avoid tea leaves from falling into the cup. The cup is light, which is nice for traveling, but it feels like it might be fragile, so of course don’t drop it! I do recommend this set.

Absolutely adore the design! The quality of the ceramic is great, but the glue between the pot and the wood is exposed and could be polished better. The lit design for the more cushion(squared) shaped pot is a major con. After pouring hot water, it will get very hot and it’s very difficult to lift compared to the round pot.
