Very happy with this product! Whoever designed this had to have had chickens. I had chickens years ago and the things I wish were on my coop back then are on this coop. From the metal reinforcement on the corners and brace on the ladder so you can actually move it, to the multiple ways to get into the hen house makes this coop really awesome. Really happy with the spring loaded closures for the doors, because in the past my chicks figured out how to peck long enough to vibrate open the doors when I wasn’t home. I like that the space under the nesting box is enclosed, one less way for critters to get in. Have had it up for 2 weeks and no water getting in. Very sturdy, easy to put together, good quality roofing. Size is as advertised, yes it’s not huge, but easily will keep my 6 hens comfortable. Great deal for the price and very easy to add another connected coop if I get more chicks! ... show more

This product is made of the cheapest wood possible. The screws will not hold because the wood is so soft. The paint is inferior and is not made for outdoor use. After less than 3 weeks outside, the paint has begun to fade and the wood to the doors have warped and will not open well. Spend the extra money and build your own. Would never but this again. Would have returned but had too much effort in putting it together. ... show more

This is ridiculously small. Definitely not predator proof, staples instead of washer and screws. Several pieces of wood were cracked. Should be made with 1/4 inch hardware cloth not this cheap stuff. We possums and racoons in our neighborhood. We purchased an electric fence to help with predators. This is not meant to be a permanent home. Very disappointed 😞 ... show more

It definitely took me as one person way more than 45 minutes but everything was there, instructions were easy and clear and everything lined up nicely. I love this coop for my five little ones and they seem really happy! This is a nice product!

    • Coop fell apart in less than a week

The coop lasted about 2 days before things started breaking. The hen house handle broke after 2 days. The netting started to come off so there were holes in the coop. The hinges on all the gates lasted about a week. We only have 4 small chickens but the coop is started falling apart the first week

    • Good idea, but poor wood choice makes it weak.

Good idea, but too soft of wood. I had to seal all seams with a polyurethane glue to make it stable. The door latches should be mounted on a 1x3” board instead of two wood blocks, another area I had to modify.
