Five Star notebooks are the only brand of notebooks I will use. They last me through the entire semester of college. A lot of notebooks covers begin to fall off but these don’t. I like how the notebook has multiple sections. These notebooks may be a little more pricy but it is worth it.

Good quality. It is on my daughter’s school supply list, so had to get it. All other stores checked, and everywhere sold out or sells more expensive than Amazon at the time. Of course I had to get it from Amazon. Why not? Better price and ships fast.

    • Still the Best Notebook for Whatever Writing Needs

I've been buying this notebook for years because it's the best suited for any notes or writing you want to keep. It's got perforated sheets if you need them, GOOD PAPER where the notes don't bleed through to the other side - AS LONG AS YOU MAKE SURE THAT WHAT YOU BUY IS NOT RECYCLED PAPER, and the pocketed dividers that all us of quantity writers or note keepers need. I will say it shows a few signs of the economy's state - other than the ever-increasing price. It's not got quite as many pages, and some of the nice, convenient touches at the inside covers have gone. The covers, too, are not quite as sturdy as they were, and the spiral binding has lowered in quality a bit. I'd rather these touches, though, than changes to the paper, or dividers, and they aren't as drastic as other companies seem to rush to, where I certainly would complain. Over all, it's still the best notebook available for anyone who wants to keep quantity or important notes, or hand-written copy they produce. ... show more

I had to get a replacement after the spirals got crushed in a delivery bag. Five Star makes great notebooks in general. These notebooks with pockets, extra pages for detailed note taking, and the pages tend not to bleed: the product is great, but for the spiral thickness. I’m hoping that future orders will come in boxes rather than the soft bags. The larger spirals are not sturdy enough to handle the weight that comes during bag shipping. I would easily give the notebook five stars if it was sturdy enough for bag delivery. I’m not sure how to request a delivery box. Maybe if I order five or so there will be enough for a box. My replacement came in a bag too but survived the delivery with just minor spiral bending that I could fix. ... show more

I've been using these notebooks for years. I keep 1 in my bedroom for quick access, to document time & date when I take my daily medications, supplements, & do my dressing changes. It helps me remember if I took my meds or not & PREVENTS OVERDOSING. I'll not be without.

This is great! I needed a large notebook for college, particularly chemistry. does what a notebook should. There are a lot of people giving low reviews because they thought they bought a black one and received a color different from what they ordered. The description for this product clearly says "color picked for you" meaning it will be totally random. You may get a black one, you may get a red one. I got a white one (which I never would have bought myself, but it's got a lot of decoration potential so I am really pleased). Please read the description before buying.... anything. Keeps you from going through the hassle of returns/refunds. Companies don't always reply to emails in time, and they won't refund you if they sent you exactly what they said they would. Companies put up pictures they feel best advertises their product! never trust the pictures, read the description and look at review photos! trust me you'll be happier ... show more
