Perfect size for my growing chicks. My 2 young grandsons put it together in one hour. It is a perfect transition coop. Or would fit 2 adult hens. Maybe 3 bantams

The media could not be loaded. This coop is small and I wouldn't put more than 4 chickens in it but it's so perfect for smaller yards! I love the 2 access points in the nesting boxes with the divider to make 4 boxes and I am loving the slide out tray for easy cleanup! Now, with that being said the quality of the wood is definitely not built to last forever but it was super easy to put together and very affordable for a first time chicken owner. It is light enough to pick up and carry with 2 people (mostly because it is too long to pick up with one person). The coop is super cute and looks like a little house. The top has a heavy duty coating on the roof to protect from the elements as well as rain guards on the nesting boxes. As far as safety, I think this is pretty secure and no critters should be getting in or out without human hands. ... show more

Ugh I wish I could give this more stars because I do like it but the front panel is pretty much particle board and paper thin... The screen came broken and I had to secure/reinforce it. The side panel with the hatch door, the hinges were all over the place pretty much asking for a water leak.... In general a poor design. If you have tools and know a thing of two, you can make it work but if you want something functional out of the box, this isn't it. ... show more

I bought this in September and it has already fallen apart to the point I have to buy something else. This isn't the first coop ive bought from them but its definitely the last I wouldnt think that a $300 coop wouldn't even last a year
