Honestly rabbit or guinea pigs chew this. It is made of wood and it will be chewed. I got it knowing this about the product because I needed to get a better cage for my guinea pig so he wouldn't be on the floor and one of my dogs taunt him. Just Don't expect this product not to be chewed.

Yeah cute nice cage and good area for guinea pigs to play. When it’s wheeled it creeks and shakes like it may break. Cleaning is easy access but plastic sheeting on the wood layer would be nice. Its not so easy to get the potty areas where its wood. If you choose not to use the screen on the bottom your animal can easily get in between the bottom floor and tray, thats not to safe. An be careful not to drop the top lid, thought ours done snapped off when it was opened. ... show more

Not a very good cage. Wood seems very cheap. When putting it together the holes were predrilled the wrong way. Not a good buy. Didn't want to take it apart to send back.
