Caring for a small animal is an amazing experience that encourages empathy, care and responsibility. You're babies will love the ample access that our coop gives, while also protecting your small animals and giving them a sense of security when they are put away. This is my first chicken coop. I was surprised at how easy it was to assemble! I love that if I want I can get a second one to double the space for the chicks. 100% satisfied. Easy to assemble. Great job on the design. Two of us put this together in less than 30 minutes. All the holes are pre-drilled. They are also pegged in the most important parts. There are written instructions and pictures. The max chickens for this would be 4. Preferably 3 grown hens. I am buying a second to put inside my greenhouse for winter. I am using little giant hanging water feeders for the inside so they don't take up too much of space. This is a great bargain, easy to use, and beautiful. I couldn't be more pleased! This is a very functional coop and well thought out. The pieces fit together well and it very nice looking! The asphalt roof is a lovely grey which matches the paint. The hardware is better on this coop than others out there, especially as it has the cool feature of being mobile. You can also lock the coop, so that is great for me. This is my first review, ever, but I couldn't resist, as I am a fan of Aivituvin! I have gotten so many neighbors and people off the street complimenting on how nice this coop looks. It came in 2 boxes and was easy for me to assemble by myself but you need 2 people to move it. I added the extension so it cannot be used as a chicken tractor. In order to make it predator proof I added cinder blocks and patio pavers around it. We have been using this for 3 months now and it has been great for our 4 chickens. Can't wait to put our little chicken in their new cage!! The instructions were straight-forward making assembly a breeze and all parts were included. The designers of this coop thought of everything: It's solid once assembled, there's easy access to all parts of the coop and run, and the pull-out tray helps with ease of cleaning. I purchased the medium size and there's plenty of room for my 3 pullets. They'll stay in this coop until they're big enough to join the flock, then this coop will be used when more chickens are purchased or in the event a chicken becomes ill. I have it in a covered area so I think it'll last several years. It may not last that long if you have it out in the elements but you can't beat this design at this price. I bought this chicken coop and liked the style. Assembly is required, but it was very simple and came with instructions and parts needed. I only needed to grab my screw driver! I unpacked all the parts and unfortunately the drawer was broken at the corner due to rough handling during delivery. I contacted the seller and informed them if the issue. Another drawer was promptly shipped to me. I was so pleasantly surprised at the great customer service! The issue was resolved fast and efficient. My new part came quickly and no damage. Decent coop. Works for my 3 pullets. I would’ve given more stars for better metal on the locks..it rained once and they are already rusting!! This is an outdoor item! It should be ready for rain/snow. The directions were pretty clear but don’t let anyone fool you, it still took my husband 4-5 hours to put together properly. So far my chicks are happy and the raccoons haven’t gotten in. We will see how it holds up through a New England winter but I have a feeling it will not last more than one. ... show more

We purchased this for the design and portability. However, in less than a year the materials broke down in normal weather. The wood bowed and shifted so much that the frame no longer has structural integrity. The wheels cannot handle frequent moving, so we didn't end up being able to use it much as a portable coop! The rear roof flap broke so that the chickens do not have adequate shelter or a dry place to lay their eggs. There are several interior areas beginning to mildew or mold, as the wood doesn't come sealed for outdoor weather. The wood warped so much that even the center tray for cleaning the coop no longer sits square. (see photo of tray off center) When I contacted the seller they did not stand by their product and offer no warranty. They advised me to try to repair the coop, and offered only $20-$40 refund. The partial refund won't cover the cost as I will be replacing the entire coop ( from another company) this coop is too poor quality to bother repairing. ... show more

I’m a previous chicken owner so I knew what to expect. This is a great little coop. I love the fact it’s on wheels, and it will definitely be one that will hold up for a couple of years. However, it took both my son and I (including going through the box and marking off that we had all of our pieces) between 4 to 4 1/2 hours to put together, and this wasn’t our first rodeo. As far as the nesting area, if your chickens are friendly towards one another then it will hold three. However when writing this review, my girls are about 4 months old and they’ve already outgrown the bottom area. Just a few things to keep in mind. Have to lift to far up to engage wheels...wheels really too small to easily move. Coop to small for more than 2 average size hens. When move it have to remove water pan and feeder..does not move with pen..very flimsy boards..I am going to have to reinforce the bottom supports and figure out how to prevent things from digging into the pen. So while it was easy to assemble and I like the fiberglass light panels and the way to open the window..it's frame and construction material is not suitable for using as a chicken tractor so I think you do not get value for your money. Oh and by the way even though I did not have rabbits it was mentioned it might be suitable..I think they would be able to dig out easily. ... show more

So I feel bad writing such a bad review, but here is the truth if your interested. First off I must say you shouldn’t expect much for the price tag. If I purchased all the materials to build something similar it would have cost at least $100 maybe more. Then the time to put this together was a fraction of the time of what it would have taken me to build a similar unit. Then the weight of this thing is so light, which is both a positive and negative. So I really want to give this coop a great review, but the bottom line is, it is built to light weight. It’s intended purpose is to be a chicken tractor. If you plan to move this thing you have to lift it at a 45 degree angle almost to engage the wheels. Then you lawn better be as hard and flat as concrete. We are planning to use it for a brooder. So I’m not concerned about the moving part. I will add material to the bottom to keep the soft wood from wicking up the ground moisture. Last complaint is a few pieces where cracked and busted. It is smaller than I expected. Probably, only good for two regular size hens. I would not purchase it again! ... show more

Very nice looking coup, probably only realistically big enough for one or two hens. Was easy to assemble not 100% sure it will hold up long-term sturdiness-wise but it was also pretty affordable. The rolling design means you don't even have to muck it out you can just roll it somewhere else and rake up the poop in the spot it used to be very nice. ... show more
