About the Startup Describe your product in 3 words.Instant Musical MagicHow did you come up with the idea for this product?The Zivix mission from the very beginning has always been about bringing more people into music. Our first product, the award winning jamstik+ SmartGuitar has taught thousands of people how to play guitar. We wanted to take it a step further by creating a product that let anyone instantly feel musical. AirJamz actually exists because of some experimentation we did with the accelerometer in the jamstik+, and once our engineers started playing with this new sensor technology, paired with some software ideas, we knew we had something cool. Our interest in augmented reality and new music experiences drove us forward to bring AirJamz to market.What makes your product special?Everyone loves music, and AirJamz lets you feel like you’re playing an instrument right away. We put a lot of work into the music & software to make it feel magical when customers first pick it up and play.
